This is me going into the National Park of Bardenas Reales de Navarra, in Spain. Its an open and free to access park with 2 main entrances, the north and southern one (last one is the main). Once in the park there's a circular road around a military base.
This was one of the best moto-trips I've ever done, it was so much fun. The entrance from the north had a road collapse at some point, I saw myself obligated to take the off-road path (the MAN way). When I was in the middle of it, Peter, the german guy with the Africa Twin showed up, I told him about the road and what I was doing, and he decided to join me. While we were risking our bikes there were some Netherlands and French guys that had came on jeeps and 4X4, they could not make it to the other side of the road, and were forced to turn around and enter from the South entrance (+2 hour drive).
All driving in the Park was done carefully, always checking my sourroundings, making sure I wasn't endangering others by driving a little bit out of hand. There's a speed limit inside the entire park of which I didn't know until a couple of weeks later. The roads are all gravel tracks, in good conditions except for a couple of areas where its bumpy.
After this visit to the Bardenas Reales NP I headed towards Loarre, in Aragón. This dessert is not known very much due to the military base found in the middle of it, its a shooting range for airplanes, basically.
