The 2025 model has even less space than the 2024 model when I was expecting more space in model 25. This is basically a 4 seater vehicle when you have to carry some suitcase or need to carry some other stuff like coolers etc. if you a family of 5 you can't go on vacation, field trip, or beach because you need the rear seat for the fifth person, and you have to carry the luggage and coolers etc. I can bet the Ford Taurse had more space than the Ford Explorer. You can't give a ride to the airport to a family of 4 people with this vehicle, where you put the luggage when a fifth person sitting on the third-row seat. This vehicle might be good if you are single or a couple with no kids. This is not a family vehicle anymore. I own a 2011 Explorer, and I was looking for a replacement and I am very very disappointed.

Love the Tahoe but we got 2 kids one on the way being the second and the Sequoia has been awesome! If you got more folks than Tahoe or anything bigger is needed. We traded our Mazda CX90 and payed off difference. TRD PRO drives better than my Silverado. 80-90 is cake lifetime oil changes, 6 years on all electric and 10 year 100k on hybrid system that literally feels non existent like zero kick it’s just so smooth. I dunno the whole storage complaint. 2nd row reclines and 3rd row down flattened flush with back board gives you more than enough space for a trip to Cosco, Lowe’s, groceries etc. plus the resale value after 5-10-15 years holds up far more than a Chevy or ford. Never thought I’d say this but man I love this Toyota. Joy of a drive folks.

They are both great cars and depending on personal preference are attractive vehicles. The Mazda is way more fun to drive, has a real six speed tranny, no CVT, has a nicer interior in the base model and is quieter in the cabin and has AWD standard in the base model, no hybrid. I get better mileage than the posted estimates, both city and highway. The CRV is a bit roomier, has a bit better technology, is a bit more practical for a family, gets better gas mileage, and has that Honda rep.
