@sharpshooter8295 it's easier to get the power out of the v3. I only shoot light slugs, but for the impacts (1,2 and m3) they seemed to have the best results when I had the reg pressure alot higher (like 150bar reg, when you can get the power at 130bar reg) than needed. I'd say for accuracy, if both tuned for the projectile they like, both can be as accurate as each other. The more I shoot the v3 though the more I like it. The build is definitely better then the fx. Not so fragile, I'm pretty sure you could throw the vulcan v3 at a tree and it would be fine lol

@@honda16001 v3 700 .22 also good with pellets? With pellets i should use large plenum or short plenum?? Im struggling to get good groups from V3 (both with pellets and slugs) ☹️. My v3 is on larger plenum mode, producing so much power but noo accuracy or consistency. Bro im getting really fed up now😏😏

@sharpshooter8295 I stopped shooting pellets when I came across slugs, so I can't help you there lol. Try cleaning and polishing your barrel. All the rifles I've had and my friends, I've polished the barrels. After seeing the results the first time I did it on a mk2 impact. Next is finding a size and weight of projectile the barrel likes consistently. Then tune for that. Finding a projectile the barrel likes will give you multiple choices in choosing velocity, while still having accuracy. So say like you have a big difference in temperature, you will still have accuracy. If you try to tune for a projectile and hit a "magic" spot but the slightest increase/decrease in velocity and the accuracy is gone thats not good. It's not a quick process to find a match especially because the regulator isn't externally adjustable on the v3 but it's worth it. What weight slugs have you tried?

@@honda16001 I’m using 24gn slugs, 18 and 20gn pellets. Now i have opened the pcp (actually many times 😏) I don’t have a reg tester , Reg was set on One and Half turn (anticlockwise) .With this setting it was producing so much velocity. Im trying to set the reg on 100bar(for pellets) but couldn’t able to find the perfect setting. Last time i set the reg on half turn with small plenum. Gun was giving 845fps , i wanted to increase the fps around 870-890 so I gave 1-2-3-4 turns to the hammer spring one by one, pull the trigger and all the air escape from the barrel within 2-3 secs. I think this gun is not for 18gn or 20gn pellets. Its hard to find heavy slugs the place i live …..

@@Timetraveller-777 try the h&n 25g .217 (the best) Zan 23g .218 Nsa 23g/24.8 .218 All performed well at the right speed.

I had the best results with the orings and tape as I showed in the video. More consistent shooting. Hope that helps

@@honda16001 wow that's a good glass you have there cost more than the gun! Do you use an app or predetermined zeroes as your shots a bang on

@nicksamsunggalaxys2404 I used strelok. Input velocity, scope height, pellet weight etc. Validate the bc at 3 distances and then use the data to make scope tape to dial in. Temperature, wind etc makes a difference to p.o.i though and mis reading the range, so if there's a branch in front and it's 5/10yards difference, you'll have a shot that's suppose to hit high, hit low. Especially as the distances get longer. Really is a good scope though 🤣 It's even better when you look just through the scope, without the go pro.

@nicksamsunggalaxys2404 have a look at the arken zulus lrf instead. Imo it's a much better scope. Both of my mates bought the hik 4k and both have sold them and got another arken zulus.

I have the Vulcan 3, the latest version, but I have not tried it. I want to know which slugs are best suited to it, how accurate is the rifle, and can it compete with a rifle? FX Impact M3 in terms of accuracy and power

@Yahya_89 I only shoot 25g slugs because they do everything I need them to do. If you shot a better bc slug 34g etc, you would have a more consistent groups at 150+ yards. My previous rifle was the fx m3, again another amazing rifle. As it goes though, you can only get so accurate... consistently. Each day will be different wind speed, temp etc. I'm happy with sub moa @100yds. 3... 5 shot groups with time taken between shots on a decent day.

The vulcan 3 is an awesome rifle, never loses zero, very accurate (aslong as you call the wind) I'm shooting 25g h&n so they get pushed around. The U.K 👍

M3 or v3, M3 is easier to adjust. V3 is a tank 👌 Both very accurate when tuned.

Never shot a prophet 3. If you're talking about 100yd accuracy both would shoot amazingly in perfect conditions, if tuned for their preferred slug. I think because there is so many accurate 100yd plus rifles now. The question is what features (externally adjustable, shot count, length etc) is the shooter looking for and how the rifle looks, which they prefer. After saying that though the vulcan 3 for me is awesome, it's going to take something special for me to switch to something else.

There's quite a few rifles to choose from now. All as accurate as each other, when you've spent the time setting the rifle up and finding the best projectile for it. I'm not sure how much it is in dollars, check your nearest stores. 👍👍

I'm not sure, you'll have to test. Loads of people have great results using: Zan 30.5g Zan 33g Avs slugs I've got 2 vulcan 3 rifles now and both prefer the .217 head size. The only way of knowing is by testing though 👍👍

Yes but most of the ping noise is from the hammer spring. The depinger did quieten it down a bit though. The noise doesn't bother me really, you sort of get used to it lol.

Both are awesome, both can be as accurate as each other with the right ammo and tune. For me it came down to the hold. The vulcan was nicer for me

It's still pretty quiet with just the shroud but the silencer does make a difference again and also the accuracy tightens up with the silencer (fx ronin)

Rifles are only going to be as reliable as they are maintained. If you leave them outside in the rain more chance of problems etc, so it all depends on the owner. If looked after the vulcan 3 is (so far) a really reliable bit of kit

My rangefinder is only a cheap one, I think it was £100. It matched the same ranges as my hawk rangerfinder and I prefer the laser aim point on the cross.

There's atleast 1000yds of fields and river beyond the shot. When the weather gets better and I start using the drone for footage you ll see.
