@@electrocycle1977 I think you'll do quite well in that video' to many people do build videos then just say "Range Varies". I'd rather here it how it is because I'm trying to buy a kit for range but a lot of factory stats and build videos are very contradicting.

It's a 52v 17.5 ah, but I haven't had the chance to take a ride to see how many miles I can get out of it yet, but I'm hoping for at least 30 miles out of it

That's exactly what I would have done. More voltage is always a good thing 😂 I'm looking to upgrade my battery, too, hopefully soon, but as you know, they cost a pretty penny. I was looking at Cell supply for some 21700 Samsung 50S cells. I'm looking to make my own 72v battery. If possible, the quality of the cells makes such a difference in performance. Let me know how you get on with the 60v battery, please.

I've never had any trouble, and I've driven past tones of old bill. I appreciate the fact that they could potentially take away your bike, especially if its modded up to the nines with wires handing out all over the place, drawing attention to it. I've even spoken to a riot van full up and asked for directions, and not one of them said anything about the bike I was on. I think they have to be seen doing something, and unfortunately, delivery riders are an easy target as they all hang around fast food places. It's rare to see someone getting pulled up unless you're riding like a nutter blasting through red lights and acting silly on the bike. When I see them, I just peddle and take it easy. Please don't be discouraged as there are 1000s of ebike riding around everywhere. Always appreciated the heads up. This also may be of interest to you, but they may be upping the legal limit to 500 watts, but we'll see how that pans out. Thanks for watching and commenting 😎👍

Thank you. It's really good straight out of the box, and taking it for a quick ride, I found it to be quieter than the middrive. If I had to compare the mid drive to hub, I would say the mid drive has the pull away power over hub, but overall, I would say they are very similar at the top end from stock with no mods on a flat surface. Going up hills remains to be seen as I've not tried that yet, as for off-road. I have yet to try out the hub motor to see what it can do going up hills, but I'm sure I'll do a video on that. It can be cycled with the motor off, but I would only do that if I had no choice, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting, as it's very much appreciated 😎👍

The first test ride went well, but I will do a range test to see if there are any issues that may need to be looked at. I've been watching your videos, and your sense of humour still had me laughing away. Your Jansno X50 V2 ebike is really good. How are you finding it after a bit of ride time on it?

@@electrocycle1977 I'm going to do a 2000km(I'm at 1873km) review. Just popped the CST Big Boat street tires on it and it's like night and day as far as smoothness, I've also seem to accelerate a little faster and picked up a km or two per hour with the less rolling resistance and holds more speed as the battery goes down. I may do a video tomorrow it's been really crappy weather lately here. What is mind boggling is that the Big Boats are the same price as the BFT knobbies. So why the f$ck would they put the knobbies on a street bike? With the street bike tires it feels like a $1500 bike, not a $1000 bike.

I tried to commute to work, but where I live near arterial roads, which are basically (A) roads, and they start at 50mph up to 70mph and being in a cycle lane when they zoom past is not a nice feeling. If you're having no luck with inner tube protection, maybe the best thing would be to look at changing to Continental Kryptotal tyres. Not cheap, and I know you're looking for an inner tube that can last, but for me, the protection starts on the outside. Hope this helps

@@electrocycle1977 Someone suggested it's a common thing with disk brakes because when you brake the tire keeps moving and taking the tube with it..ever had that?

I've never had anything like that, to be honest. That's the first time I've heard of that

@8thsinner The bbshd got really hot, to the point that when you touch the outer casing, you couldn't leave your hand on it for more than a couple of seconds. So, as you may know, the internal cog/gear is made of nylon and could melt at extreme temperatures, but he peek gear can take a lot higher temperatures

I used to do the same thing until I bought them ear protectors. That wind in your ears after riding for a while does my ears in lol

Never had any trouble with the cops at all and past them every time I'm out riding. The battery I'm using is a 52v 24ah 35E Samsung cells with at least 40 miles plus range. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting, as it's very much appreciated 😎 👍

@@electrocycle1977 That sounds amazing I had been looking at a tongsheng mid drive kit. Where did you get that battery, if you don't mind me asking?

@diarmaidok yes indeed, I have seen many tongsheng mid drive motors, and they look very stealthy, in my opinion, but as far as I'm aware, they only have 750w motor which is still good. You also have a Bafang bbso2, which is also a 750w mid drive and very trusted and reliable motor. There's one more you may know of, and that's the Toseven 1000W mid drive, which also packs a punch. Unfortunately, the site i bought my battery from doesn't seem to be there anymore. I can give you the specs for the battery if you like

@@electrocycle1977 I was thinking of a 500W or 250W system as I always seem to have cops stopping me for nothing. I'll have a look out, Yose power do a big 48v 20Ah with lg cells which I'm leaning towards. Hopefully they'll have it back in stock by the next time I have the cash to buy it. Ill look out for the toseven as well cheers.

I got the kit from ebikesystems.co.uk, but unfortunately, it would seem they have closedown as when I try to go on the site, it doesn't do anything anymore

To be honest, you could replicate the kit. The battery is a 52v 24ah that uses Samsung 35E cells, and the bbshd is set at the highest setting.
