After a 1,050 mile journey from Dillingham, AK to Homer, AK. I put my boat on dry dock until fishing Bristol Bay in 2025.

We’ve had a couple winter storms come through Alaska lately.. Now it’s time to remove snow before getting back to work in the Alaska Lake house, or cabin,, whatever you want to call it.. Wow, that’s a long time ago huh. My grandpa fished back in the sail boat days, I’m sure he’d be Amazed at the size of my boat.
@@Ambition-AK It is a long time ago. I look at my photos from the late 70s and early 80s and it's a completely different industry. My dad spent his summers tendering in the Bay. Lots of sailboat stories from those times. I think the term "iron men in wooden boats" sums it up well. I was the captain of the tender Bumble Bee in the Nushagak River in 1979. That was a good season.

The fish go in hatches under the back deck. This boat will hold 10s of thousands of lbs
In the 13 Fishholds, which holds approximately 21,000lbs of fish below deck. I do alright fishing ;-)
