I was going to buy a used mini 2 to start practicing again, and I haven’t flown my drone since 2019 😢I sold my spark, so 5 years I could’ve been practicing 😅I know I should’ve just got a mini se or mini 2 or something but it was pandemic and my grandma got sick, so funding was low that’s why I sold my drone I miss flying should I buy the mini 2 on Facebook about $300 drone and controller or $450 Canadian for a fly more kit, or save up for the mini 3 pro or mini 4 pro? I don’t have a license so I want to start with a mini drone thank you for your time I wanted to ask you what’s more important the skill of flying or the ability to grow into the drone ? I know the mini 3/4 pro it will last for a long time but the mini 2 I can afford now but it’s definitely going to need to upgrade in the future but having a drone is better than having no drone right now right? 🎉 Please let me know your advice thank you ❤ Big stress relief to fly ❤

I have the same set up, just started shooting raw. Would love to see a video of raw editing workflows with this camera. Learning the slog2 gamma has been sort of a headache for me the past year but I’m able to capture beautiful images with it.

I did this but I used two power banks and put a USB lead on the light so if one power bank runs out I just switch to the other by changing the usb to the other.

**Please can someone help?!?** I'm new to this... I have connected my Nikon D7000 to my PC using HDMI with a UGREEN video capture card (manuals.plus/ugreen/video-capture-card-4k-hdmi-to-usb-a-usb-c-hdmi-capture-manual). The card is recognized by windows and shows up in OBS, but when I connected the D7000 no signal gets through and the message "Please adjust input resolution ≥ capture resolution" is displayed in the preview window. Although I cannot preview live view on the camera itself when HDMI is connected (the camera screen is completely disabled, I assume that is normal?) if I hit record the camera does definitely record video normally but the signal is simply NOT getting transmitted correctly through the capture card to the PC. I updated the firmware as shown in the video just in case that might help, but it made no difference. Is there some setting I need to change on the camera? Is it my Ugreen capture card that isn't compatible? (If not, why not? I can't afford to keep buying different capture cards hoping one works). Is there some additional software I need to install on my PC? Also if I connect my D7000 using the USB rather than HDMI it works fine through DSLRCam (Digicam Control Virtual Webcam) - its ONLY on the HDMI connection the signal isn't getting through. Please, does anyone know what am I doing wrong? Lots of people seem to be able to use the D7000 fine in HDMI mode, I don't understand why not me. :(

Also, the Windows 10 EOL is in Oct 2025... someone with an older processor might need to consider an upgrade BUT for those wanting to hold on, a license for the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for businesses is supposedly $61 for the first year so yay! we can kick the can to 2026 and see where all the newest chips fall.

Thanks for a valuable video. A few questions: 1. at 3:15 you label the type of charger you use as "alkaline rechargeable device". It would be useful to distinguish these from other kinds of chargers. One of my chargers immediately rejects my alkaline non-rechargeable batteries, while another (less high tech) charger accepts them. 2. I am assuming you use a 4 hour timer to avoid the possibility that unlimited charging time might cause battery damage. Is that right? If so how did you settle on 4 hours? 3. Have you tried recharging batteries that are very drained vs. those that are less drained. For example I have quite a few AA alkaline that are giving 1.0 V now. Would you expect they could be recharged just a well as more depleted batteries (eg 0.5 V)?

Hi, I have a Raspberry Pi 400 that I want to use an lcd screen from my old HP laptop, I picked up an lcd driver board and it works with the Twister operating system but I cannot get it to display with the Bullseye OS or the new Bookworm OS, nothing comes up on the display but it works wihen connecting directly to a 19" samsung tv without the lcd board on all 3 operating systems. I had the same set up before with an older lcd board and an older laptop screen and it worked but the screen display was very poor. Any idea why it only displays with the Twister OS? Thanks

I got this mp3 player and it works fine most of the time but for some reason it won't open my music unless i plug it into my PC and back out. Even then It'll randomly just stop playing and I have to do it again. Is there a solution?

Is everyone’s camera still working well? I wanted to do this before but I saw someone with a D5000 did this and it bricked after a few uses.

I found a good battery charger for Alkaline Batteries, as well as Lithium. Its on Aliexpress at the store KLW 168 Official Store, Store number 4682052. It does up to 4 AA at a time and is about $10 usd plus freight and has a USB power cable, so a an adapter is also needed for whatever country you are from. It has excellent reviews, about 74 of them. They are very hard to find or expensive elsewhere, as far as I can see, since alkaline charging is not recommended. I have a Powerhaus fast charger which is good quality, but does NOT like alkaline batteries, the charging LED goes from red to green very quickly. However I discovered that this does not mean it stops charging, it just proceeds at a much slower pace so I will use that, after 10 hours the no brand SCA batteries came up to 1.61 volts and after small use dropped back to 1.57 which is amazing. I read on a reddit post that Panasonic alkalines recharge very well. I use batteries for headlamps and flashlights, a blood pressure monitor, bicycle tail lights,

You need a spotter or a special operations permit to fly one in Canada because it's always beyond visual line of sight. You are wearing the screen rather than looking at the drone physically. That's not legal for small drones, like the Avata, but it is legal for microdrones.

This is great. I have a question, I want to connect a detachable Olympus V4 viewfinder to a raspberry pi. Is there a way of connecting what looks like a propriatory hdmi male (which connects to the camera via a hotshoe) to a standard hdmi?

Why do people continue to claim that these are offline? Mistral Instruct 7B Q4 for example is most definitely not, it won't start if you disable the internet.
