This video is about I learned how to survive without a microwave and a kitchen.
When I became a flight attendant, I heard about the different techniques they did in order to survive. It all sounded funny and even crazy. But then I ran into a situation where I had to sit in Europe for 5 days for work during COVID-19.
After a 9-hour flight, I finally made it to my hotel room and I was ready to eat one out of the three meals I had brought; but, the room didn't have a microwave. So I call the front desk thinking, "This isn't the first hotel I've came too that doesn't have a microwave in the room. I'm sure the staff will have one that I can use."
WRONG. The receptionist not only told me that they don't have a microwave for me to use; he also stated that they do not microwave outside food. Everything inside me sunk. Again, I felt trapped into doing something I wasn't even use to doing when I wasn't a flight attendant, which is EATING OUT.
I knew that if I kept eating out, then my new budgeting lifestyle would not work effectively for me to become debt free. Plus, I just committed myself back to eating healthier.
That night, technically morning because it was past midnight, I sucked it up and ate out... and it was delivery.
So my first YT video and this second one are RAW results of what I did to commit to the lifestyle that I wanted for myself. This is just one of the few survival hacks that flight attendants and world travelers have used when they did not have any other options.
I do not iron my food on a regular or even suggest that you to do this if you don't have to. If you do try this, please clean the iron before and after you use it. Protect the ironing board cover with foil or a towel too.
Although this experience was fun & helpful, I have already upgraded to an electric skillet.
