Good video. gave me lot to think about. I purchased a royal star cruiser that was already lowered. it rides okay, but there is a lot of transmission/ drive line noise. it is an 05 with less then 30,000 miles on it. The previous owner was a short man. He left the parts in the bike that were changed/removed when it was lowered. I am wondering if i should have it raised back to stock height. the kick stand has not been cut. Any thoughts? thanks.

PLEASE READ: Sam does nice work but he will have your seats for 4-6months....no lie. I recommend sending him a spare set or sending your seats over the winter when your not riding. 3-4week turnaround turned into 6months for me. Love the finished product but if i use him again i will send spare set so i can ride while waiting

Man. I’m only 4 11 on a stock R3. It’s my first bike and I’m thinking about lowering it because my feet barely tippy toe on the ground and that’s if I’m wearing my work boots that add an inch or so. The dealer keeps telling me the handling will be bad if I lower it but is it bad even if it’s an inch? I understand the bikes geometry changes when changing the height. Idk if I should just deal with the height or lower it.

I would try removing the heat shield 🛡 and then see if you can wrap under the heat shield. Then, put some holes in heat wrap so you can reattach the heat shield. I would use some black heat tape so it matches up color.

With pump it up you need to hit alot of arrows correctly to get a good score or it could be the pads.
