I am familiar with them and have met Ryon several times myself. I know some of the individuals that also end up with some of the horses there and have met more people who have purchased from there in the horse community as I just meet more people. It's a horse flipping business and Ryon does not only purchase healthy ones that are in good condition, but he has bought horses that are simply "cheap" and entirely unwanted and told people he would rehome them. People try to raise money with donations to get these horses out with the idea that these horses are bound for slaughter if they are not purchased by the date listed and it absolutely plays on some people's emotions to help animals in need. There are videos of emaciated, lame, and ill horses and the pic will note the animal needs to leave the pen ASAP for care. Not every horse survives. I have seen some incredibly simple mistakes happen like a woman who bought a horse from there and believed she was getting a mare only to go and pick up a gelding. The idea that these horses were even looked at enough to tell whether they were male or female before sale is a simple thing. I picked up a horse there and was advised that I needed an open stock type trailer and the horse was dangerous. . . .the horse was scared and had whip marks on it and they tried to load the horse by running it into the trailer and using whips. I said to stop and I grabbed a halter and lead and despite the horse not being halter broke. . . .the horse would rather a calm person lead them onto the trailer and the horse was not dangerous when it was not scared of being whipped. Two other horses sold by Ryon in that group made it only 3 mo with their new owners before the owners got rid of them because the owners couldn't handle the horses. They ended up in a rescue where they actually received help. The vets in the area are VERY familiar with Ryons as are the individuals at the humane society. The vets know the horses that come out of "the pen" are likely to be sick and must follow a full quarantine protocol and are normally very hard to handle. However, in MN and in the activity of equines I would say that RRP is not actively lying to individuals and there are other equine sales in MN that actively lie for 5 to 10x the amount of money Ryon sells his horses for. There are others who truly take advantage of people and falsely advertise. Ryon is a horse flipper, he buys low, bring them to the pen, and puts them online to sell for a profit and is very clear the horses are "as is" condition and he will allow local vets to come out and pull blood or do medical or for you to come see the horse if you request, but it is a very limited time period. It is a place where you are knowingly taking a gamble on a horse and the price reflects that and I only suggest this for very skilled and educated equine individuals with decades in the industry. We can spot lameness, conformation faults, age by teeth, check the training level on a horse, handle less trained or horses not trained at all, know biosecurity procedures, and many of us are fully capable of doing training on the animals ourselves. Do NOT send inexperienced horse people here. If you want things in MN to get better than a law about falsely advertising horses like "kid safe" or "family friendly" and sound and other terms would be far better to hep those who are scammed out of thousands and thousands of dollars in the equine industry by really unscrupulous sales people.

There's some spots that come across as crazy likely due to poor translation. Though just reading it at least shows you were not willingly ignorant. If you read it truly and still don't believe at least you gave it a shot instead of hardening your shell to refuse to open your soul to possible salvation.
