Art 101 is a support channel for K-12 teachers. This channel is for art teachers and multiple subject teachers wanting to integrate art into their current curriculum. I will be using my art education experience to share ideas and techniques that you can take away and use in your classroom. As of November 2020, I will be focusing on lesson for TK-6th grade students. I plan on putting out art lessons revolved around the elements and principal of design as well as activities that encourage creative thinking. These lesson will be produced for Garden Grove Unified School District students, but hope others can enjoy and participate as well. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ribbons and Banners
This lesson explores the techniques in drawing ribbons and banners. These artistic designs can be used to enhance artwork as well as incorporate text. The drawing technique can also be used to draw other objects and scenes. I hope you enjoy it.

Excellent work. I'm a teacher - have students troubled when they don't have materials. I love examples of simple materials they can use. I have them find paper bags, if they don't have paper. Thank you so much for posting this. I will be passing it along / sharing it.

before i read your description, i thought how fun would this be for kids! i love love love the carrots. i love the paper you choose. i have a very colorful flower book that i bought at a store that sells super duper discount books. it's more of a magazine book and the pages are very heavy. they would be perfect for a flower picture. I bought a bunch to upcycle. great idea! tfs!
