Hey there, thanks for your comment! If you want to alter the playback speed without modifying the tonal pitch you'll need to buy the Pro version (then you can set “pitch shift” as the "transposition engine").

@@SoundCodex I posted a question on KVR and got advised to check 'use fixed size buffer' in the vst settings(wrapper). It fixed the problem for now. fyi.

I downloaded and installed both versions for Mac and Win. Both work great! Could it be a false positive? Try using a different antivirus as confirmation :)

On some Windows systems, the installer is incorrectly marked as a Trojan/Virus. This is a known issue regarding the tool I’m using to create the installer. If you don’t feel comfortable using that installer you can download the manual-install version (just copy the VST3 file to the VST3 system folder and the Signal Perspective folder into the Documents folder). Sorry for the inconvenience!

Not all units are affected by this problem. Anyway, make sure to test your PSU with heavy loads like benchmarks or gaming for extended periods of time!

@@SoundCodex yeah I didn’t mean it like how I first put it, meant the … as in for now. I’ve ran this game on max settings on red dead 2 (ryzen 7 5700x , 32gb ddr4 , rtx 4070 eagle , it runs at 60 minimum and not had any sound issues) I stuck my mic right into the back like you did and played it through my headphones (so if it made any noise while playing I’d hear it) not had anything so far, I really hope I don’t have to get a new psu.

Probably because you are processing the background track and not the vocal/instrument you want to highlight. Try putting the Masker on the vocal track (or the instrument you want to reveal), send your beat/song in sidechain, adjust the sidechain level so that the display shows the yellow line slightly above the white line, and finally reveal the masked frequencies. Let me know if this works!

@@SoundCodex I have it on the track I just mixed with it on about 6 or 7 songs and 2 of them I'm having issues with vocals and on both tracks I have 2 different vocals and it's still giving me issues especially in the highs, I tried pushing the clean up to the left some cause u said on video how clean works and I put a de esser and ozone imager to try to help and it did but it's still audible

@@phantomentertainment5629 try moving the masker to the vocal track and use it to reveal the frequencies masked by your sidechain (beat/track). Hope it helps!

@@SoundCodex I did do this originally I'm going to go back and see if it is something in my mix I might be able to use a linear phase EQ or something to get things back lined up

For crackling noises use it only in 44.1 Khz projects. If you are using it on FL Studio unfortunately there is not much you can do (other users have reported problems with that daw). As for using the plugin, I recommend watching the second video I made on Masker: czcams.com/video/aDoqALthZfk/video.htmlfeature=shared. To process vocals I would start by using only the Masker. Tweak all the parameters until it sounds good and then you can add more fx to your fx chain!

It can give good results on a wide variety of sounds, from voices to instruments!

What sampling rate is your project at? Other FL Studio users have already experienced these problems. Keep in mind that the plugin is still a beta version and has not been tested on all major daws.

I tried changing the sample rate in the settings and still the CPU explosion sound ensues, 48000 @@SoundCodex

I would not use the Masker for kick and bass. Just use a simple dynamic eq. In any case, you can insert the Masker in the bass track, send the kick in sidechain and, if you want the bass to be more present in your song, use "reveal masked freq". This will bring out those frequencies that the kick is masking on the bass.
