bfdia has always been my favorite season, its really strange and the host changes like every 5 episodes, the post hiatus episodes in my opinion made the season 10 times better, and bfdia 13 fixed the timeline, and in that episode the characters explored yoylecity which honestly fixed the only bad thing about bfdia, every bfdia episode is good, besides 8, bfdia 8 was extremely boring to watch and felt like filler

Honestly Bfdia is getting better to me at least, because the first few episodes were a little cringy at times.

my theory about one’s contract is that she’s exchanging things that contestants want in order to make it so they can’t tell other people about their presence. with her taking basketball at the end, i’m predicting she’s going to offer to fix robot flower for basketball while using the contract to make people physically unable to mention One’s name

To be honest, BFDIA has been hit or miss with its story. Some episodes are amazing, while others are just mid at best although there was no episode that I absolutely hated. Although I feel like BFDIA is a bit directionless here, it does have an ending (I.E IDFB) but it's a bit unsure of itself on how it wants to get there, although I do have hope that perhaps JnJ is actually trying to improve BFDIA based upon its most recent episode.

I love how post-hiatus is the most controversial season in BFDI by far, even more than post split. People either love or hate it. But even when they don't like EVERYONE agrees that BFDIA 6 was a perfect 10/10 episode, even if later episodes didn't follow the same BFDIA 6 is still the goat for everyone lol

you can have your opinions on not liking it, but I have my opinion on thinking that it's some of the best episodes in the series.

They are ruining BFDIA it’s so sad. What was my favorite season turned into something I don’t even want to watch anymore. BFDIA 13 was good. But I bet it’s gonna go back to annoying in 14. They ruined it.

Ngl i should stop commenting on BFDIA critics and stuff, also this is kinda of a hot-take on the topic of Modern BFDIA being bad. Anyways, i think that this video is a great resume of the stuff that dissapointed some people about modern BFDIA, with a lot of opportunities being left out and character's personalities being thrown away for (mostly) loud and dumb characters. About Yoyle City, i am pretty sure that they are gonna continue IDFB when BFDIA dies so it will probably be explored more on IDFB, as much as i would love if the contestants spend majority of their time on Yoyle City. (and that also wouldn't make episode 6 useless) The teams that got switched from episode to episode just lack some of the relationships with the contestants (for example needle just accepting being on freesmart, or even pencil letting gelatin and firey be on freesmart), i think that comming with a better reason to why the contestants switched and why they won't go back to their respective team would be a great way of making it better, and also probably make the teams accurate to the relationships (and yes, there is the swap token but that is a different story) As for the personalities, those are a complete mess, instead of a bunch of characters being themselves, they are just loud and annoying, with coiny being one of the primary examples, in the hole old BFDIA saga he appreciated pin, and a lot, but now he didn't even care for more than 10 seconds when she lost her face, treating her as a mere inanimate object, you can say that he did care for her on episode 12-14, but if you see, for example, episode 11 he just thinks that she is "alive" (technically she is but she can't talk, neither walk), and then he just says "alive characters float, dead drown" and then he drops her on the deep ocean. Another thing that you mentioned is how some things just makes another thing's impact worse (by that i mean like the goiky highway that literally makes the hole episode 5 saga pointless), and i do think that they are annoying, not necessarily the worst but just a bad way to implement a joke or something into a episode, from my view they should be avoided at all costs. And well, to conclude this rambling that i made, i do think that maybe the future of BFDIA can be good if they listen to some feedback, episode 13 was and i hope they keep it up, i personally loved the pre-hiatus series and seeing how they made the new BFDIA just kinda of made me sad, i can see that it has been over a decade and they did get a new writer but i think that maybe trying to at least make a closer style to BFDIA (has seriousness scenes and semi-goofy scenes) would be nice. (Sorry for the random rambling lol, i won't comment on another BFDIA criticism video from now on)
