The two apartment buildings have been demolished to make way for two new apartment buildings, equipped with the most modern technologies and are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. They also emit no CO2 and the new residents cook electrically and the homes are also heated via heat pumps.

I made the images from the balcony of the apartment where I was on holiday. The images were taken in Hoek van Holland in the Netherlands.

It didn't rain. Otherwise I wouldn't have been there. Then I would have gotten soaking wet. And my camera too.

Yes, it's easy to get there. It's the Koningin (queen) Emmaboulevard. It's free to visit and park your car. You then can almost toutch the ships 😀 The footage you saw where shot from the apartment I rented during my summer holidays.

The Netherlands puts a lot of wind turbines at sea. In the image of the video thumb, a ship is shown loaded with windmills and left that same evening to install them.

De muziek is niet hard hoor. Dat ligt aan uw eigen volume-instellingen. Dat het geluid van de motoren van de schepen niet te horen zijn heeft met de wind te maken. Ik hoor liever muziek dan het gebulder van de wind in de microfoon. Ook zijn er bij de originele beelden veel omgevingsgeluiden te horen. Dus de keus voor rustige muziek was snel gemaakt.

Die ouwe langzaam loper is wel mooi idd maar er staan heeel veeel videos met motorgeluiden op youtube

Het lijkt wel zo, maar verwacht dat het gewoon nog ouderwets een vuurpijl was (toen het nog mocht).

Klopt, het is een schitterende omgeving. Ook het kleine Zwitserland, Mullerthal is ook erg mooi. Op de camping in Reisdorf kan je ook goed eten. Daar hebben wij wel eens gezeten. Maar ook aan de overkant van de Sûre in Duitsland, Wallendorf, zitten uitstekende restaurants.

Sicher. Ich konnte immer noch auf der Strecke gehen. Einen Feiertag später war es weg und asphaltiert. Zum Glück haben wir die Bilder noch 👍😀
