If we're adding dye, do we just add that before the essential oils or do we need a higher temp first for the dye?

I've been making candles and wax melts for around 5 years along with my technology and media business, and writing career. I use all natural ingredients and prefer a mix between beeswax and soy or other natural waxes. I love sampling new scents but stick to the standards I know my customers love.

Thanks for the video, I found it easy to follow. Except that as a gift reciever (ive never made a candle before) i feel like this is missing the clean up after. Secondly the wick trimming, the tool you use in the video is not a normal thing to find in the house. So i feel like having a more generally used tool would help. I also had left over wax so tried to made a 5th smaller candle however not sure the wick i used will work so any information regarding that. Finally im looking forward to seeing how they come out tomorrow but for now my house officially smells like fireside. Its v strong. Thanks. I enjoyed the process but definitely thought there could be more help provided within the candle making kit.

Before knowing much about candle making I bought a candle starter package and a load of wicks from cheap online shops and so the question is do I throw them away and use better wicks or give it a go? I have bought the Stabilo sample wicks from you which I was going to use after I had had a few goes. Also, like in Scotland if i’m lucky, my cold stone house only heats up to around 14-16oc is this going to be a deal breaker if I decide I want to go down the route of making and selling candles? Thanks for sharing such an in depth video. Just to be clear in my own mind: - I can continue selling current stock with current CLP labels? - When that pre-labelled stock runs out, I need to then label with the new CLP labels temporarily until retesting/decision is made? ie need to buy all new CLPs for all my diffuser fragrances? - I should add tactile labels now as a precaution?

Can i leave wax inside the machine always for example i was making candles and i finished but there is still wax inside that i didn't use at that day , can i leave inside and melt it again later for further use?
