It was a great experience. Wish I was more into vlogging back then so I could capture moments. I am doing my best to recapture moments using CZcams and hopefully next time use my vlogging skills to capture moments live.

I tried to portray to people in the USA it seems off beaten path not to me specifically. But many people here in the USA 🇺🇸 might not know Serbia is such an amazing country

@@GeorgeOnTap Well, my first thought would be - what do americans in general know at all and the second thought - why should they pester Belgrade or surroundings? They will neither understand serbian history nor orthodox faith, they will get no access to the culture - they will probably just be looking for alcohol and easy meat and this is what they might better do in GB or Thailand. But of course I would welcome them in case they came to apologize for the ruthless, horrible bombardment of Serbis in 1999....

When comes to foreigners, it is better to be less known to people, we don’t need to destroy our culture and tradition with people from all different backgrounds. @@tanjagak2097 I unfortunately missed Sarajevo on my trip. But I would welcome to go back there, Albania and Macedonia on my next trip to the Balkans.

My friend, my people have suffered everything. Yesterday, in the city of Nis in the south of Serbia, an aerial bomb from 1999 with 430 kg of explosive charge was found on a construction site. Serbia is divided and not all are Russophiles... Innocent people suffer the most. And you persistently supply the same Ukraine that you are worried about now. When it was the Soviet Union, you didn't care that Ukraine was part of it. If you could, you would level the entire Soviet Union with all of Ukraine. And the worst is your hidden western dictatorship as you call it democracy. My country is occupied by the NATO army from all sides. And we finished every story with wars. Any further escalation and instability will start precisely from that same west. In 1999, you called your operation in the bombing of military and civilian targets, trains, residential buildings, bridges, mountains, Merciful Angel? You have targeted the same hospitals multiple times with extreme precision. Since World War II, you have occupied every country that has Oil. You have a list of countries that America directly attacked. You can compare yourself in recent history only with the Nazis in terms of wars. So relax, my friend, and don't comment on the Serbs regarding Ukraine and Russia, you don't even know how many Ukrainians have come to live in Serbia as well as Russians... And yes, take a look at what Israel is doing :) Many greetings, and always welcome to visit this country in peace!

I agree with you that Serbs tend to see things black and white and because of this position they are not able to judge things properly,leave alone being able of self critique. I call them "bolesna brača" - (mentally) ill brothers.

In any event, It is a fact that Russian invaded a peaceful country that was no threat. No country would EVER invade the nation that has the largest nuclear arsenal in the world AND makes no secret of its willingness to use those weapons if invaded. No country is that idiotic. It is also a fact that Russia commits war crimes and is a tyrannical police state that imprisons or kills opposition figures. Whatever NATO or the USA ever did -- whatever any country ever did -- whatever the Roman legions ever did -- whatever the Ustasha ever did -- none of that is today an excuse, a defense, or a distraction from the murderous rampage of the Russian army. I would not think of murdering any Bosniak, Croation, or Serb based on the blood that all three groups have on their hands for that not so distant Yugoslav conflict -- then excusing my murder based on the plentiful evidence of war crimes from that conflict (war crimes committed by all three groups). Murder is murder. Whatever was done by someone else in the past, neither I nor Russia, nor anyone has any right to use that as an excuse to invade, occupy, or murder innocent civilians. Neither will I listen to the complaints of any past conflict or war used as an excuse for what is happening at this very moment. There may be plenty of evidence to support whatever your opinion may be. It is irrelevant to the current conflict. You may argue that it is hypocritical for Westerners to criticise Russia at present, and that would be a fair criticism; however, that STILL DOES NOT justify Russia's violations of international law or human civilisation. You also, cannot condemn the past actions of the West without also criticising Russia. That, too, would be hypocrisy. You will never be able to criticise NATO or the EU or the USA in the future if you cannot bring yourself to criticise Russia in Ukraine today.

This is absolute BS. First of all Serbs wish the war in Ukraine would stop and that they would look for solution through negotiation. Serbs feel kinship with both Ukrainians and Russians.

@@mnemonija The fact that you think an unprovoked invasion of a sovereign nation whose borders were recognized in MULTIPLE treaties, agreements, and international laws, all of which were acknowledged by this transgressor who already invaded other neighbors -- the fact that you think that situation deserves a "NEGOTIATION" speaks volumes. There are seldom international conflicts that are more black and white than shades of gray, but if you think this is a shades of gray situation, then you need to clean your spectacles. There will never be borders and there will never be international treaties if this invasion is left to stand and if this imperialist tyrant is rewarded in any way. There is no need for negotiation when Putin honors the many treaties and international laws which Russia had previously affirmed. And there will be no negotiated settlement worth the paper that it is written on if Putin is allowed to ignore all the other pieces of paper that Russia has affirmed. Russia's word clearly means NOTHING>
