As someone who's tent was right at the Camp Turner set and absolutely surrounded by people enjoying it, with love and respect, give over and don't feel sad on my behalf. It was a one-off special set and having it more sanctioned would ruin the magic. Path blocked? Say "excuse me" or go a different way for all of what, 20 minutes. Trying to sanitise something like that is kinda against the spontaneous magic of Trees. It was a minor inconvenience for a short period of time. Other than that, I agree about the toilets and the car park, that needs looked at

Friday - Nickelback Saturday - Blink-182 Sunday - Linkin Park (reunion)

Sleep Token have an insane amount of hype, and everyone has now heard the name Sleep Token. However i don't think the wider rock/metal community could name you any songs by them, they don't have the mass appeal to headline in my opinion. A prerequisite of being a major festival headliner should be having a catalogue of songs that even people who aren't necessarily fans of your band will recognise - look at Fall Out Boy this year. Sleep Token could certainly headline one of the smaller stages but i think on the main stage it would fall flat because not enough people would know the music.

Sleep Token, MCR/Nickelback and Slipknot. A top 4 of Sleep Token/Deftones/Spiritbox/Meshuggah would work perfectly for them too. I think MCR or Nickelback as part of Download 2.0 to push the festival further and then Slipknot as the classic Download headliner. Dan is 100% right with all the reasons about why Download will pick Sleep Token and they have sold 114,000 of the 115,000 available for sale already. Interestingly when Avenged Headlined for the first time in 2014 they sold 57,000 tickets. Half of what Sleep Token have put on sale. On Korn, they haven’t turned down headlining they have said in the past they are disappointed not to be asked to do it. I would imagine they may headline in the future with the nu-metal revival.

I think sleep token, guns and roses (slash said in an interview that they are touring Europe next summer) and Slipknot

My prediction for headliners - Rammstein (Fri), Sleep Token (Sat) & Slipknot retro set (Sun). My prediction for subs - Deftones with Amon Amarth just below in 3rd (Fri), Placebo, with The Hives just below them (Sat), Papa Roach Infest Set, with maybe Gojira playing in the 3rd from top (Sun). This is not necessarily what I want - but its just what i think will happen.

Iron maiden, sleep token, foo fighters.

Sleep Token need to headline next year. Not all that into them but strike while the iron's hot i'd say. Iron Maiden and/or Slipknot are possible based on rumours. Would rather have neither personally... And MCR just because I want them. Also nice meeting you guys outside the Doghouse 😀
