Hello! Thank you for doing this… My mother is THE ONLY Cape Verdean I know, and she left Cape Verde at a young age to live in Senegal. So she lost her Creole for French. I know nothing of my heritage, and I’m in pursuit of learning it on my own to hopefully give my kids some of the culture. So, thank you for giving me something to start with!

I enjoyed watching the videos of your trip. They brought back memories. We made a trip to Praia and Fogo in November, and it was both a spiritual journey and fun trip for us. The people were wonderful, the views were spectacular and the food was all natural and yummy. We had such a great time and plan to return this coming November 2024. You have a good channel and I enjoy your content. .
