@@teddiross I don't think that they are the same size. I have heard that there are a bunch on amazon. I am not an apple person, so I don't know what apple airtags are like. I noticed that they are specifically magnetized to hold the tags in place.

Rob Hi... I got the conditional approval today 😅 Now im seeing the appointment usa side tomorrow at Champlain EC (land crossing) Should I do it right away ? Also which one comes first ? Canadian side or US? Have to do both right?

@@iashaikh20 I don't know for sure - but I don't think it will help on the southern borders - Sentri, but yes, it should allow for tsa precheck / global entry lanes - I haven't seen a problem yet.

yes, you should be able to do both at the same time - but might have to do it in 2 different conversations. I am not sure about that as I didn't do mine with a land crossing. This is the difference of a land crossing - you get to do both at one crossing point. For me, I needed to book my Canadian side appointment, go to the airport and head to customs office, then my part 2 was on my NEXT flight to the US, I had to ask to do my second part AFTER I cleared customs(Halifax is a US pre-clearance airport) - that is why we booked a flight to Boston. Its the difference of land crossing vs airport. Calais Maine is almost 5 hours driving time from me. That is why I thought a video was appropriate - prevent others from making the same mistakes, and give people an expectation of how long it took me.

as you approach retirement, it would help make travelling to take your wife on the vacations that she deserves - at least that is what my wife tells me I am supposed to be doing - taking her on more trips.

I am 6'5". He will be cramped, but likely not much more than he is used to. As a tall guy to taller guy, we kinda get used to that. He will need to duck around the signs in the hallway etc. as those are about 6'7" and watch for sprinkler heads etc. But it would be something to get his opinion on. thanks for watching. He will also find the beds a bit short, I have more feet overhang on the cruise than I have at home.

yup - it does. My clothes aren't exactly small or light, and for a 2 night/3 day trip with some electronics etc - it did well. I need to sort my toiletries out a bit better, but I think it is going to do well for me.

I like it too. It will give me greater flexibility for quick short trips that can be carry on only.

15 bucks a day is what it would have cost me - so 60 bucks for a 28 day sim card, totally worth it. When I go down next time, I want to see if its cheaper to buy the cards down south.

I agree, and that is why I don't think I will have a problem going for another NCL cruise. I am not looking for a Walmart crowd, but the traffic jams of mobility scooters, not to mention inconsiderate - would pull into an elevator, and block the entrance for anyone else, eating their plate of food at the buffet with scooter blocking everyone from getting some food while they finished a plate to grab seconds etc, might be more the NCL demographic - but I don't know as this was my first NCL cruise.

yes, I think it would feel more compact, if the bunk beds were set up, as there wouldn't be seating, and it would just be a path to bed - so, lesson is: don't take kids.

Yes, He have also cruised Carnival before (pre-pandemic), and it was younger. I have heard that right now the post pandemic cruise demographic is a little older.

I won't say that too much - but the mobility scooters were a bit much. They should consider limited those that need assistance in case of emergency. There were so many that needed assistance to help themselves, that in case of emergency, staff would be overwhelmed (IMO)

the 12 nights wasn't a big deal we were 3 days sail, 6 ports, 3 days sail back - so I would be more selective of my itinerary in future. In reality - it was great.

but totally worth it - right? Cruising is good overall - we enjoy it. Need to do more of it.
