Aye, wanted to say this saved me $5200. Audi said the steering wheel lock module failed and the only way to replace it, is to buy a whole new steering column. I found videos showing you how to repair it yourself, but that required some serious surgery. I found your video May 9th and had been using my spare key since with NO issue. I changed the battery in the fob (hadn't been changed in at least 12 years) and it makes that "click" that turns on everything alooot faster. I'll update this if or when the fob leaves me stranded again.

**Update** Main fob is out again and the spare key didn’t fix it. Dang. Prolly should have kept using the spare.
