For this shoot, I wanted to recreate some of the lighting from La La Land. With the resources that I had available, I'm pretty happy with the lighting. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to explain and go through the setup, but leave a comment if you have questions! Excuse the shaky easyrig footage, I'm still learning to use it effectively. A super simple fix. Copywriter: Chris Rosenbalm Sound Producer: Tanner Giles Actor: Joe Nugent My role: Direction, Cinematography, Editing, and Coloring. Shot on BMPCC4K, Sigma art 35mm, tokina 12-18, and Zeiss primes. Edited/colored in Davinci Resolve 16.

Last Christmas I made the teaser for this, that's all that I'd originally planned for, but covid-19's quarantine provided me with the downtime to be able to pump this out. How do production companies film dream sequences in sitcoms if you know?
Honestly not sure! I feel like a lot of them just dip to black or hard cut to an exterior morning shot. I'd study some of your favorite sitcoms and watch out for it!
