Great camera, I just bought one in 2024. It still works well. Don't sleep on it.

Wonderful tutorial, this camera is still relevant today.! Thanks for the tour. The technology is cutting edge (especially for its time) and is still in the upper echelon. Using several different Sony A frame lenses and enjoying the weight, the feel and the aesthetics of this camera. Sorry that SONY, ever pressing for the latest and greatest sort of left this form factor behind. But, wait.! I'm not sorry that much because the price of this series makes photography more affordable and fun. Being old school and coming from film (Minolta and Pentax), I like the full feel and look of this camera and having decent (not large) hands, I enjoy the layout and complete set of dials, buttons and controls. Enough old school to allow me to create AND HAVE FUN, AND ENOUGH TECHNOLOGY to be relevant in a world full of pixels, specs and speed.

there is a step missing I cannot get the square to go green he has not said if he is in P S A or M mode I see he is in P but what is the symbol by the side of the AFS I assume its WIDE again he has missed steps.

I use my AV mode a lot but I have noticed the shutter speed command is missing blank. Also the flash exposure is missing at times but comes back into view. I need my shutter speed back in view to adjust has and when. Its been missing in past but the shop got it back but a lot of the shops has closed and I can't get assistance. Paul

I have recently been given a nearly new D600 with very little use. I am old and unable to take in much of your excellent video. Is there someone who can answer specific questions about my proposed usage? My daughter rides in showjumping competitions and I would love to enhance the results of the images of her activity. I also have a Nikon D90 which has served me well over the years but would very much like to use the D600 which I believe could improve my output. While taking images when she is jumping, I would use CH mode in auto focus mode. However, I cannot find out if I can use subject tracking in conjunction with CH mode. My current method is to take a to firstly focus on the jump that she is approaching, then take 5 or 6 images. In this way I can edit the captured images once I am home and select the best image to transfer/print. Is there someone who can advise me on this “technique”? Kind regards Alan

Absolutely outstanding tutorial. I haven't shot with my 5d Mark III in a long time as I had a neck and back injury do i carried lighter cameras or small purse size and used my phone . I forgot so many things on it...I missed it especially using my best lenses. This tutorial also taught me so many features I never full understood what they did and how they could make my shooting more fun I am super excited about using my Camera again especially since I am strong again. Thank you!!!! I am taking notes. You are a wonderful teacher!
