Loved the talk about everyone being on their own timeline. It’s sooo hard not to compare ourselves to other people, especially in the world of Instagram etc.

It’s all about teamwork and should never be one person. We can tell that Stephanie supports Nick to the fullest and that is what makes your relationship successful. Lauren works 40 hours per week and is a full time student. With me in management and usually on call with my schedule changing, we always need to make adjustments so we can do things together. But…Sundays from September-February is my alone time and this is non debatable.

I have yet to maintain a work-life balance and I resonate with a lot of what Nick said. As a teacher we often work way past school hours. It’s even harder when you are so passionate about what you do. One thing that has worked for Ben and I is I try and involve him in everything I do. It’s always nice to have someone that supports what you do and is understanding when plans have to change.
