I used to live with a black cat and he saved me from that ferocious black dog. Brave and loving, strong and mindful he was a hundred times better than I am. But one day you have to step up and be the bravest, the kindest and the one who shows love and kindness And that day you need to remember how that black cat kept away the black dog for all those years by just being there. Im not usually into the “comedy” patter of magicians, but this guy was genuinely funny. I think a lot of the jokes went over the audience’s heads. Great magic too btw.

He Pete, nice to see you´re keeping busy! Just a thought, speaking of spreading, during the first minute and a bit, couldn´t you be using the Ascanio Spread (vertical version)- more fluid, and lets say, infectious... (plenty of tutorials out there. for ex. K52. Bringing it up to the vertical plane is easy enough to work out...). Be well, and be masked!
Hi Donald - good to hear from you. I used the vertical Ascanio spread at 2:13 (I think!) - but yes there are a few elements that could have been modified I agree, (particularly the final card which is great live, but is a little clumsy on camera). Can you Ascanio with 5 cards? I'm not really a card man!

David Williamson is awesome thanks so much Peter for that interview I got a lot out of it. Plus I love your work as well man. I saw you do a lecture a few years ago in Portland Oregon. Totally blew my mind. You did your cups and balls routine which I love and also your cylinder and coins routine. Amazing stuff man.

@@PeterWardell yeah it was great! In 2019 I finally got up the nerve to start busking on the streets and it was the best time ever. The problem now is I only got one summer to busk and now covid hit. What a drag. I finally get over my fears of public speaking and start learning how to build my show and 2020 happens.....lol.
That’s tough! Stick with it, it’s a great way to grow as a performer. Kudos for getting started though - it’s hard!
@@PeterWardell thanks man. I will definitely stick with it. I guess this is like down time where I can work on my performance and hat lines and sharpen my toolbag of slights and stuff. Dial everything in until I have the chance to go out and perform for laymen

Hi Carlos - there's nothing technical about these! They aren't magic specific if that's what you meant. If I have too many places to monitor I think I will loose momentum etc. But never say never!

Great, I wish the interviewer had spoken as loudly during the interviews as in the final announcement, I missed odd words almost every time he spoke but heard Geoffrey Durham clearly through out. He is a fine man who has helped many people over many years by his reassuring, life affirming calmness.
