Everybody keeps on saying that Lexie is Mer's sister OK go ahead and tell me one sisterly thing that she has done except forcing her way into Mer's life. She blamed mer for her mom's death, behaved rudely with a senior(do that in real life in medical field and find out),lived in her home when her drunk father was being a hussy, yelled on mer that it is not her place to say anything when her father acted half decent with Mer, performed surgery hiding,fucked up, went to Mer risked her job, tried to use sister card with everyone to be friends, and in this scene illegally pulled out Mer's record putted her in an uncomfortable situation and gave her that he was wonderful to ME speech.

This may be a stretch but I’m sure Bailey wanted to make sure even in death, George was doing good work to save others lives.

I dont care what anyone says Lexie's a goddamn bitch for this. The amount of trauma Mer faced and the audacity Lexie has to come to her and ask to help someone who's one of the core reasons for all her issues specially abandonment

Lexie is so annoying and selfish why would she think Meredith would want to save him and he abandoned her, slapped her, and blamed her for his wife’s death I hate how everyone always feels Meredith is obligated to do things for people and should never say no

George's closest friends truly mourning George and in a way that he could appreciate. He even comments on it to Meredith on the beach -- "You laughed at my funeral." But he says he understood why. It was a release from the sadness.

What i love about this is that after the post its they really kept the promises they made. There was no more breakups between them, no cheating, no separating. Even when they were extremely angry at eachother when Meredith ruined his trial they still stayed together and got through it. Im glad they didn't ruin the relationship with stupid drama and it's so sad they killed dereks character

I remember season 2 where theres a bomb struck in mer hands, izzie and George where sittings in theirs locker and izzie is kinda laughing and George ask y? And she said it s her thing laughing at the funeral and now...look at them laughing at George’s funerals..😢

I hope I don't sound like I'm nitpicking but has Lexie EVER checked if her other sister (Molly) can be a donor? Or, Thatcher other family members (if he had any?)

Great acting on Lexi’s part. I really felt this. I almost started crying, getting me all teary eyed and everything. And this was great character growth for Meredith. She didn’t have to save her dad. She didn’t even want to, but she did it. She did it all for Lexi so Lexi wouldn’t be in pain. That’s what a sister does, if she can. She takes the brute force and gut punches. She takes the pain so his/her younger siblings don’t have to bare the pain. This is what an older sibling does. This is what I’ve done for 20 years. From the time my parents told me I was gonna be a big sister, I took care of my bro and sis. That’s just something you do. You protect the people you love.

This is so true, my brother and his friends had the same reaction at their friend’s funeral. He said that they laughed historically and out of control.

I relate to that somewhat. My coping mechanism during a very hard situation is to laugh at it. Granted, there should be a time and place for it, but it helped me to not feel physical pain when stressed out.
