How many years of security updates do you provide? If it’s about three years like the phone manufacturers, then that’s no good. My scopes need to be supported for a decade or more, at the bare minimum for security patches.

I returned mine... the fan is as loud as a small hair dryer at 1st speed even with no output and very cold ambient temp. The viewing angles are low, you can't tell the selection from eye height and the numbers are too small to read. And it blows dead cold air from the sides... my hands went numb by using it.

I don't understand why the manufacturer or others emphasize this feature in their advertising. The Bode plot is very often important to me. After all, you can even examine and adjust IF filters (455kHz) with this DSO. And above all very important when analyzing AF circuits. Thanks for the video. I will buy this DS0.

Does it work with NI-VISA?

The software is crap. Most of the buttons on the front panel are inactive during all 3 modes. NOT a convenient interface at all. Menu navigation is not intuitive. The PC software didn't work at all. Maybe they'll fix it later, but usually such devices don't get the update.

TERRIBLE!!! Please add couple of MOVs and PTCs to protect input and people would buy OWON series of Mutimeter. Just worry is lack of MOVs and PTC! Please!!!

I don't get any current out of it, used it 3 times for electrolysis and now it just stopped. When you dont connect anything, I assume you should see 'something' happening on the screen right? How do you troubleshoot this device?

would be nice to know, where and how to buy the Decode upgrade, since my XDS3104E does not come with it, but labels it as optional. Contacting Owon by email seems not to work...
