Ah, the days of when the PMX-1500 and WeatherSTAR 4000 were all in one! Actually, the master control at the time still used the WeatherSTAR 4000 until about mid-1997 when the PMX-1500 began to be used for segments like the Travellers Forecast and the latest conditions at a regional/national level. There were also other times around mid-1997 or so where certain cities across Canada had the WeatherSTAR 4000 before they got the PMX-1500 at their cable headend, but the master control used the PMX-1500 by that time for certain segments above.

The 2003 WCTV newscast is from their old facility. They would later take over the former FNC: Florida's NewsChannel facility in 2005. EDIT: This is a Tally video, yet Tampa's WFLA shows up near the end.

I believe this was from September 12, 2001, one day after the terrorist attack of America of September 11, 2001.

This is actually Ottawa, but wow - the days of what The Weather Network used to be when they were headquartered in Montreal, just like their french sister station MétéoMédia at the time. I think MétéoMédia was pleased to have their studio/office space by themselves when The Weather Network relocated to Mississauga in May 1998. From great features to music and even the WeatherSTAR 4000 they had (which even displayed the One Moment Please/Un Instant S'il Vous Plait standby screen)... I wish we could relive those days again.

Back when The Weather Channel used to be really good especially with WeatherSTAR 4000 and the choice of music they had. Same could also be said for The Weather Network and MétéoMédia when they had good music choices, the segments, WeatherSTAR and later the PMX 1500 from this era.

The early days of the PMX-1500 for TWN/MM while other areas still used the WeatherSTAR 4000 at the time... it's sad that they've decommissioned it (along with the PMX-3200) after the cybersecurity attack they had in September 2023.
