alot of people here don't seem to like this story but i really do.

i get hating the grandma and bailey and the kids but i don't really hate the mom, yeah she dosen't do anything but i don't know what i'd do in that situation either, their dangerous escaped convicts with guns who don't know you and have no reason to trust you won't tell anyone about them and their little secret and even if we could call the police secretly we'd probably be dead by the time they'd arrive so i don't really hate her, maybe she could've done something but in a horrifying situation like this i don't blame her for being resigned to her fate even if she really cares about her family.

had to write a 2250 word essay on this, great story but i don’t like it anymore cause of the essay😂

I also didn’t like when I asked why I was so quiet. I don’t remember anyone asking if I’m shy or if I’m an introvert or why am I shy. Once I had things worth talking about, people were shocked I started talking more then eventually people stopped asking why I’m quiet and things seemed more normal.

I recently read this story and came to youtube to see if other people thought it was as pointless as I did. The only thing that I liked was that it perfectly represents that moment when you make a mistake and you know you really screwed something up for everyone, not just yourself. When the grandma realizes that she misremembered where the house was, I was like "oh yeah, been there." And then it just kept getting worse and it was all her fault

Bartleby worked in the dead letter office of the post office and is a dead letter himself, with no return address. In that sense, Bartleby is Everyman in this democratic mercantilist world. Forced to leave his mother’s family household before he can cleave to his wife’s family’s household, all so his parents can pocket a speculative gain from the mortgage-based leveraged bids and dump the overpriced land and buildings on the next sucker. Yes, the time to have played the Bartleby card was past when we did not say to our parents, “I prefer not to leave the house, but I will help build additions and extensions, help buy food or grow it in the garden, and continue using the various appliances, linens, china, flatware, etc., using the income from local jobs, when not contributing labor to the family business, to help reduce the family debt and make the family buildings suitable for a more sustainable college of extended families.”
