This my old drag truck, Motor Chevy 358, solid roller cam Chevy stock car heads machine very well setup for high rpms. Dual gas tanks 116/93 gas and can mix the 2 via together by switches to the carb. 2 fuel pumps, was a Tex racing trans NASCAR, To 5 speed over drive by G-force trans.

I you pulled it apart yet. Man was piss off with run around. All had was about 160 miles. I went install manual trans setup. Did jegs help you any. Summit was no help.
Having problems with my th350 street fighter trans from TCI bought through Jegs. I ve put less than a thousand miles on it. Shouldve gone with my gut and bought one from someone local.
Does it have 8 lbs of oil pressure cold at idle? 😮

I to rebuild it my self TCI was no help what's so ever. I wish summit racing could have step in.
I'm from Germany. I have had the same problem with an TH350 4x4 from TCI sold by summit. bought in 2020/2021. destroyed the runnoverclutch of the direktclutch. lookslike yours. Got no help from them. rebuilt the tranny by myself. They modified it. they leaf checkballs, the retainerspring in the valve-body out. close oil-chanels in the spacerplate. I am angry too. takes my money again. waisted my time. i am a landscaper, not an mechanik.
They was no help TCI sucks. Man I wish summit racing had my back on this.
That sucks man. I've been there before with trying to return stuff like this. Should have tried to return it through summit since you bought it from them. Usually the manufacturer won't help you if you didn't buy from them directly. Hopefully my TCI th350 super street fighter won't have this issue.
Summit racing side warranty was through tci on there product. It's been rebuilt with 36 element sprags holding up well now. but pull it going with a tex t101 manual trans.

Brings back memories of my sleeper 1986 Dodge D50 with a 360/ 4spd, stock rear end lowered.
Finding parts is hardest thing to do when comes to the trucks.

Glad this could help. If your going for th350 trans 36 sprags drum setup. The Sonnax th350 ring is a good thing.

Your welcome, man I'm still piss at TCI, and the way TCI talk to me on the phone, telling me it was my stall so when I pull it apart and then sent them more pictures, Freaken guy said 30 day warranty.

that's what i did just rebuild it my self, I use this sprags ring- Sonnax Transmission Company 35723HD-02 - Sonnax Heavy-Duty Intermediate. I have about 125 miles and did few hard take off.
Ok another problem pop up 4 mouths ago man this trans is killing me.

How are the front brakes on your FJ? I've had an 89 for a few years and no matter what I've done the front stoppers are never as strong as the back - which makes no sense to me. Have you found a way to fix this, it looks like you have all stock calipers.
it could be air in the lines
@@jagco2594 No, they're not spongy, they just don't decelerate well. I rebuilt the calipers, installed new pads, installed SS brake lines, rebuilt the master cylinder etc. So I don't think its a maintenance issue. Oh well.

How did u work it out with the driveshaft? I’m building my 79 arrow with a Sbc but I’m in high school so I don’t know much. Any help is appreciated.
I completed a swap with an '82 D50 as well with a 360 and 999 trans. I strongly recommend using a Mopar V8 and trans; very little fabrication. The stock driveshaft from the automatic transmission versions of these trucks will fit without fabrication. These transmissions were externally identical to the 904 that came behind the V8s so the driveshaft, trans crossmember, and speedo cable all bolt right up.

Blitz Court sticking with the carb for now. Trying to make it as budget friendly as possible

Had one this colour loved it fjr13 fan now but remember the fj12 fit a Scot oiler that will look after the chain.

@@fabzrustrider9838 Rather late reply but a Scottoiler is an automatic chain lubrication system. It uses vacuum from the engine to drop about a droplet of oil per minute on your chain.
