Under Tribute | Abidan Shah, PhD
This is strikingly similar to the story of God’s people through the book of Judges. There is a cyclical nature to the narratives within the book that show God’s people failing to remember what God had done for them and what he had commanded them to do. The sinful cycle of disobedience has occurred in countries like England and, if we do not take action as believers, can occur here, too. The title of this weekend’s message is “UNDER TRIBUTE”.
Are you allowing sin to pull your heart away from God? Are you struggling to remain faithful to God’s plan for your life in certain areas? Are you saved?

We are diving into a new series of messages from the book of Judges. This book is filled with stories of men and women who, like American cowboys, are bold, peculiar, and compelling characters who inspire or serve as cautionary tales. @@dansaber5853how? The Bible talks about it on several occasions.
@@user-mi8vk3yc1zAccording to the literature, what is Christ like is what's rejected by religious people for not following their religious laws. I find no fault with the LGBT whatsoever. What do you say?
I love America
what values are those?
Slavery loving and genocide.
@@user-ki4ek9wn1l wasn’t long ago women and some groups weren’t equal in this country. Ffs the Bible you’re talking about talks about how one should go about beating their slaves. Next you’ll be saying those values. Also those have nothing to to do with god. I don’t recall reading “all men are created equal” in the 10 commandments. Do you? Also none of that is being attacking in the us. You can practice whatever you want.
@@user-ki4ek9wn1l by your logic conservatives should love and support the LGBT+ community right? We’re all created equal.
The fewer devout Christians America has, the more our freedom is threatened. A Judeo/Christian ethic in the populous makes freedom possible.
What about all the Christians who want to get rid of the separation of church and state? Furthermore Judeo-Christian values is such a meaningless phrase, nothing in the Torah or bible is supportive of enlightenment ideals and there is a lot that is actually against the tenets of classical liberalism which gave you those freedoms. This is all myth making

My sister wasn't feeling well. She went to the doctor and a few days later he told her she had cancer in her heart, liver and lungs. Nine days later she died in my arms at home. I could not bear it any other way.

If God's pple are only pple from Israel, then my guess is, since I'm not from Israel he doesn't claim me as one of his so y should I care about his pple.
That doesn’t do it actually because not everyone who comes from Israel is Israel “not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring”” Romans 9:6-7 Ismael is also an offspring of Abraham so your argument doesn’t hold for Palestinians as it doesn’t hold for Israeli, the blessing is for the children of the promise no longer the children of the flesh. It’s a misguided teaching because you aren’t reading the context and you’re mixing the old covenant which is obsolete with the New Covenant that is no longer about bloodlines. They are not true Israel no matter how you slice it.
You have to identify them first sir you need to read some history books, then go back to the Bible😂😂😂😂
I stand with the truth I stand with humanity I stand with freedom, I stand with a true democracy I stand with hope I stand with Israel
This presenter should be ashamed of himself He doesn't even read newspapers or he'd know that the British gave Palestine to Jews not isreal
Read the 10 commandments, and let them be your compass, and don't lose your way in the woods.
The hypocrisy of some of the Christian preachers is on another level. One sided preaching with no regard for the Palestinian Christians.
Who are actually the true Israel according to Romans 9:6 and 7.
Those are not his people those are khazar Europeans
Amen, God Bless Israel

Awesome short!
As a Native American To the victors go to spoil because they get to write history This has nothing to do with the pilgrims being grateful to the Native Americans This has everything to do with the Pilgrims and Puritans conquest. The celebration actually came from every time they slaughtered Native American people, tribes and stole their land. Tell the truth
Not even once in my life thus far has anybody I have eber known or met ever expressed gratitude on thanksgiving or even acknowledged thanksgiving as a holiday about expressing gratitude. There is never a talk about being thankful. It's about having a day off to make and eat way more food than could possibly be necessary. It's about gluttony which is the opposite of gratitude. I really don't celebrate holidays because of this world of American mindlessness. And there have been constant ads about spending money for Xmas when it's not even thanksgiving yet. Just marketing marketing marketing.
Thanksgiving feast is a uniquely American holiday that specifically celebrates the goodness & blessings of God to us. It predates George Washington ... and stretches back to the pilgrims who celebrated their thankfulness for God's goodness and provision to them and bringing them and their Native American friends together in harmony and surviving an illness that was already spreading throughout the Native Americans and spread likewise to the pilgrims who landed on Plymouth Rock the first winter. Thanksgiving worship services were also celebrated by the settlers at Jamestown VA. Thanksgiving to God is a uniquely Christian practice as the Lord Jesus gave thanks.
Is it God or is it Satan that is good to an undeserving people?
It is God, more specifically Jesus as he died on the cross for our sins. We didn’t deserve that. We deserve death but those of us who has accepted Him into our hearts and surrendered to him have everlasting life.
I do it because God said to be thankful. And that was our nations thing to do when we got here with the pilgrims and Indians.
We have Thanksgiving because of god?
Yes, Thanksgiving Feast is a Christian observance started by the pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock to thank God for helping them and their Native American friends to survive a specifically harsh winter and illness spreading throughout Eastern tribes and to the English pilgrims. Thanksgiving worship and fasting services were also held by Christians at Jamestown VA. Christians regularly give thanks to God as a practice taught by Jesus to thank God for blessings and petitions. But yes, the Thanksgiving Feast is specifically started by Christian survivors of the Mayflower at Plymouth Rock.
@@kaleidoscope8743great explanation, I love this reel
It was the day that three tribes were completely massacre to make way for settlers. It’s not a blessing it’s not beliefs it’s be grateful that some people bloodlines still live from those days.
Which ones? Why were they at war with the wampanoag? Stop acting like native Americans were some giant homogenous utopian tribe. Shut up and eat your turkey and spend time with your family.
Hogwash. The pilgrims on the Mayflower did not massacre any tribes at all. Half died from illness, starvation and freezing the first winter because they landed too far north after being blown off course by a maelstrom. One tribe of Native Americans were already experiencing a plague of some form and had also been hard hit by the same winter. The next spring the pilgrims and Indians worked together to help each other survive and plant food. That 2nd winter, they ate their Harvest Feast together where they gave thaks to God for His blessing and survival together.
@@kaleidoscope8743 it’s very easy to write off history with American history, and even history within itself is only based on the victors you know this just as much as I notice, so get all parts of the story, correct before you say this is made up bullshit because the holiday of Thanksgiving was created long before the pilgrims, touch land. I’m not saying that the holiday was created because of the massacres I’m just saying a process to this day, not because of this creation, but because you should be grateful for life.
@@kaleidoscope8743 and you could write off the plagues that one of the tribes were already experiencing but you cannot write off the infections that the pilgrims gave to Say tribes and that’s not the only tribe that have been affected by European and Spaniard settlers also look at the Mayans and Aztecs tribes not to mention you also have to remember there are more than 500 tribes that make up the Americas not only one or two
@@kaleidoscope8743 and furthermore, some tribes have created confederacy’s with Great Britain other tribes created confederacies with them selves so what parties are you talking about? Because you and I both understand the Americas have a long history of not only infighting, but also outside nations choosing to misnomer the people who were always here.
Bullshit they teach you about the day and why it’s important in American history
Why does everything have to be analyzed.
