Will you record different aspects of one trip for each journal? Or do you think you'll go through like 3-4 journals every trip? Would a wider piece of elastic replace all the bands? (like an elastic belt)? Also, you need to add more whiskey to that glass - the melted ice has really watered it down!
Hey! Sorry for the late reply! That's a good question, and I'm not entirely sure. I do know that I plan to use one specifically for medical issues/keep track of meds. As for trips, if it's just a short trip, I'm thinking that I can keep it to just one. But longer trips, I dunno. Recording different aspects of the trip in each journal is a good idea, though! Thank ya! (((hugs))) And I wish it were whiskey. Or wine. LOL

Funny you should ask! lol I ordered the Leap of Faith set a few days ago, and it shipped out yesterday. I fought the urge to buy 50-11 million Field Notes...for now. I'm a Scorpio. The obsession is strong. LOL Oooh! Did you save the live? And thank you! I'm trying different things. 😂 Lately, I've been using CapCut, just because of ease of use, but I've used iMovie and Final Cut Pro on my other channel as well. I honestly think that I prefer CapCut! 🥰
@@paperanime83 I like the size and shape of the Fields Notes notebooks but wasn't sure about the paper quality, I will definitely be trying them! (I like the idea of them being pocket notebooks too). Is CapCut only for phones or can it be used on a desktop? I'll have to give it a look - I use them for TikTok videos. I always use iMovie but it feels outdated (or I just got bored with their editing options lol) so I will be trying Final Cut (or whatever it's called with Adobe now)

LOL I just get a wave of nostalgia when looking at it. So...I finally bought some. Finally. LOL Please let me know when you try them! And CapCut can be used on both! For long form videos, I use it on my laptop. Short form, phone. ;)

That's awesome! Once you get into it, it's hard to get out of it lol. Just don't forget that the paper you're writing on can definitely have a different effect for each pen.
Hi! Thank you! I'm trying, I'm trying. lol It's been so long since I've used a fountain pen, and I really have to remember to angle the pen correctly so it'll actually write! LOL Any paper suggestions that I should try out?
@@paperanime83 Kokuyo paper is my absolute favorite (you can even find some of their notebooks now at Barnes & Noble), I also like Midori, Clairefontaine, and Rhodia for fountain pens. One thing that I love is that you don't have to press as hard with a fountain pen, so it's good for people who want to avoid cramping in the hand.
Thank you so much for the suggestions! I do have paper from Midori/Traveler's Company now, so I'll try it out there first, and will look for the others! And so true! That's something else that keeps tripping me up. I'm so used to ballpoint pens, that holding a fountain pen feels slightly unnatural. LOL
@@paperanime83 and I *think* one of the special things about fountain pens is that the nib will slowly adjust to your writing angle/style (which is why they say you shouldn't lend your fountain pen to someone!). I still am a fan of ballpoint pens 🤣

Fountain pens are surprisingly easy to get into, I use them extensively at University for quick notes and never had a problem, if anything my hand doesn't hurt anymore after writing like with ballpoint pens, the fountain pen choice is fine, If you plan on carrying it around and using it on cheap paper, I would suggest a fine or extra fine nib, ink is looks great.
Hey there! Thank you for the suggestions! I think that ballpoint pens being a lifelong preference definitely has an effect on how I keep trying to use fountain pens. lol Different angle, different amount of pressure, etc. Will definitely look into fine/extra fine nibs. Greatly appreciated!
for me, it helped to lower the angle at which the point hit te paper, idk if it might help others
