Hammock Camping
Hey guys! On today's adventure, we trek into the bush on a hike and camp. Instead of our traditional tenting, we'll be hanging in the trees with our hammocks.
We had amazing weather for the trip and were able to get some incredible shots of the early morning fog-filled lake. We hope you enjoy watching as much as we did making it!

None of my gears are working
You may need to replace your belt. If it's in good condition, could be loose and needs to be adjusted/tightened.
You fellas are a superb commercial for the Argo. Beautiful country. 👍 Really appreciate that trailer you have for your Argo. Perfect combination.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for your kind words! Cheers 👍
thanks man ! did the trick
Awesome! Glad it worked for you. Cheers!
😍🌊🏖
Loved your video absolutely stunning . I’m booked for two weeks . I have a question which app you used your video. It’s quick and everything in it please and thank you
I edited the video with Adobe Premiere Pro :)
Going to this resort next month! Was wondering how you booked the snorkeling excursion?
You'll have a blast! As for the excursions, we flew with Sunwing and they had a Sunwing rep in the main lobby of the resort. He was awesome! He helped us get booked in for the excursion (all cash) and we were off to the races. Enjoy!
I had an 6 wheel Argo back in the day…. Never again. No suspension, slow, and if the conk out. You’re not pushing it anywhere. Got an atv, never looked back
Yeah, Neil loves his Argo so far but it's also still quite new. We've come to learn that they're almost useless in the winter unless you have tracks for them which is a major downside compared to what an ATV can offer in the winter months. Me personally, I agree; I'd take a quad all day long. Neil on the other had you might have a harder time convincing, lol! Cheers!
Also did you spoke to someone about the private land ? Or it was just sign on the side of the road ? Lot of hunter in quebec think that because they have a camp, that the land and all the road around the camp are they property but it's not the case. They rent a place for their camp, and the only thing they own, it's 100 square meter around the camp, so if you want to place your tent 105 meter from their camp, you can. Also, they cannot block any road or trail, cause they don't own it. So unless there's a fence around an area, or that you spoke with the owner of the place, there's not a lot of chance that it's really a private property
The one particular spot that was mentioned in this video was gated and locked. We ended up trying a different trail and ended up behind the gate on private property by mistake as the alternate route we took led us there without additional signage. When we started noticing trailers and construction equipment, we knew we we had crossed onto private land (leased crown land), and turned back around and went back on the public trail. It can certainly be frustrating riding a trail many km's into the bush only to find the rest of the trail gated... In this area there's many trails to utilize so we made the best of it either way!
Nice video, in which region of quebec is this ?
Thanks! This is near the Denholm region about 45 minutes past Ottawa
sick video, i cant wait to get back out in the snow LOL chears from Mississauga
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video. I really enjoyed it. Thank you
Thank you very much! Cheers!
Do any of the rooms at Colonial have a second half bathroom? We stayed at the Majestic Mirage and our mirage club suite had a second bathroom with toilet and sink
That’s a good question I’m not too sure about that one. We got the cheapest room so we didn’t have that. I’m doing some digging online and seeing a breakdown of each room for both the family side and the club side and neither appear to have that option. That being said, some of the more expensive room packages have both indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. Aside from that, from what I’ve seen there’s no rooms available with a full and half bath. Thanks for your question! Cheers
Thanks for the video, I'm planning to travel next year to Majestic Colonial so now I have an idea of what it looks like, got a question for you guys, is there some areas or services not included in the 'all inclusive'? I know question might sound obvious, but I've heard some cases you have to pay some extra. Great video BTW
Hey thanks for the comment! Theres the "Colonial Club" which is their adults only section that costs an extra fee when you book your vacation. We booked on the family side and personally didn't see the need to pay the extra money for what you get on the adult side. That being said, we met a few people who did book the Colonial Club that said it was worth it for them. You get more privacy, access to a private pool, sun beds, small bar and a VIP lounge. So really it comes down to an apples to apples comparison of which you think is a better option to book; for us it was the family side. In terms of the "all-inclusive" label itself, there were no hidden costs that we encountered. We had access to all pools, bars, restaurants, beaches, gym, amenities etc. There is an outdoor recreation centre for basketball, tennis etc., which is also included in the all-inclusive. There are additional costs for certain things such as golf and the spa which is consistent with most all-inclusive resorts. We booked through Sunwing and everything was very transparent and accurate to the actual experience! If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
Music takes away from the carribean vibe
Hey girl!! We met you at the swim up bar. My husband Bob and I are from Minnesota and he is a Correctional Officer here. We talked to you and your hubby for a while!! Love that you put this video out! Let me know how we can connect with you guys!! Had a blast getting to know you and talking shop!! Hope you are all well!!
So awesome to hear from you guys!! Crazy how you found our video! Find me on Facebook "Alexia Taylor" and we'll connect on there! :)
Great video. We stayed there in 2019. Probably more like a 4.5 star but we enjoyed it for the price. These days a decent AirBnb on a beach or very close and flight isn't any less expensive. We like the all-inclusive aspect where there are many restaurant, pool and bar options. There's also usually some fun entertainment staff that really make a vacation enjoyable. Basically its pay once and you're done except for any extra excursions and tipping.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!
Looks amazing !!
Thanks!!
Nice vid mate and that cook set is a ripper 👍🍻
Thanks man! For the cost of it, not much can beat it!
Great job guys.
Thanks brother!
Looks like fun. One of these days I'll finish my trailer rebuild & hopefully hit some nice trails with my Frontier. 6x6.
