You Don't Say! (April 25, 1963) with Mary Tyler Moore & Kennan Wynn

Hollywood Squares (October 10, 2003) with Eartha Kitt

The episode directly following my previous upload, this one starting at the bonus game with an English Equestrian vacation at stake! Celebrities are Stephen Collins, Gina Lee Nolin, Tyson Beckford, Penn & Teller, Eartha Kitt, Chris Spencer, Judy Tenuda, Kennedy, and Martin Mull. All uploads are for archival purposes and do not intend to infringe on any copyright holders' rights. If there are an...

I honestly don't know how I've gone this long without uploading some of H2, aka the Henry Winkler-headed era of Bergeron Squares. This is probably where the show really peaked in enjoyment value, not to mention the great set and bonus game. This is from the final season, which switched to a straddling format that I've always preferred. Celebrities are Stephen Collins, Gina Lee Nolin, Tyson Beck...

The episode directly following the previous one, because why not. Philip McKeon, Debbie Reynolds, Jenilee Harrison, Rip Taylor, Jon Bauman as Bowzer, and Betty White are the day's Battlestars. All uploads are for archival purposes and do not intend to infringe on any copyright holders' rights. If there are any issues, please tell me so and I will comply as best I could.

Another short-lived but fun game show from the 80s, this one taking on a *very* Hollywood Squares-like format and starring Alex Trebek (and wouldn't you know, this was from the same production company shortly after HS itself got canned). Philip McKeon, Debbie Reynolds, Jenilee Harrison, Rip Taylor, Jon Bauman as Bowzer, and Betty White are the day's Battlestars. All uploads are for archival pur...
Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak (February 3rd, 1986)

Another episode from the short-lived ABC gem, with a rare final result in the main game! All uploads are for archival purposes and do not intend to infringe on any copyright holders' rights. If there are any issues, please tell me so and I will comply as best I could.
Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak (January 16th, 1986)
zhlédnutí 17KPřed 3 lety
Here's a gem that really got overlooked at the time. This fun game, hosted by late British legend Bruce Forsyth, combines Pyramid-like description passing with intuition, as a 5-person team must communicate a subject along each other without repeating key words. It only ran for 13 weeks on ABC, but it saw a successful 12-year run in Germany as Ruck Zuck. So there's that. This episode is from it...
The Better Sex (mid-1977)
zhlédnutí 17KPřed 3 lety
This short-lived ABC show, despite the name that wouldn't at all fly today, was a pretty fun one involving bluffs and intuition. But, like many game shows of the time, only a handful of episodes exist. Two of them were aired by Buzzr a couple years ago (which you can find elsewhere on CZcams with little problem), but this one wasn't, so here you go. All uploads are for archival purposes and do ...
Hollywood Squares (December 21, 1998) - First taped episode!
zhlédnutí 58KPřed 3 lety
Although it aired three months into the series' run, this was the very first episode made for Tom Bergeron's HS, as evidenced by the little cold open at the beginning. This contains some clear differences in both the cosmetics and the format that would quickly be changed; see if you can spot them all! Celebrities are Brian Austin Green, Richard Jeni, Laraine Newman, Caroline Rhea, Jeffrey Tambo...
The All New Let's Make a Deal (May 20, 1986; ep 332) with Carol Merrill and Jay Stewart cameo

Yeah, my uploads have been rather slow lately. Haven't had much time to think about what to upload here, but they'll pick up again in due time. Until then, here's something that aired on Buzzr yesterday. What makes this episode interesting is not just Monty's original partners appearing for the 4600th LMAD in history, but also the fact that for a very long time, this was thought to be the final...
Liar's Club (early 1977) with Betty White and Burt Reynolds
zhlédnutí 16KPřed 3 lety
Here's one game show from the mid-70s that is among my favorites that often go overlooked. This show involved a lot of betting and guesswork based on the bizarre objects presented on the stage and the celebrities' colorful descriptions of them. This particular show, hosted by Bill Armstrong, has on the panel Larry Hovis, Betty White (whose husband opens the show on a surprising note), Burt Reyn...

You Don't Say! (July 7, 1975) - Premiere of ABC version
zhlédnutí 21KPřed 3 lety
Here's a long-forgotten show from the old days. This was a take on Password where contestants teamed up with celebrities to use soundalike phrases in order to form a famous name. It ran on NBC for six years in the 60s, and it got revived in 1975 with a more Match Game-like format because... that show was popular, I guess. Didn't see the same success, with only 5 months. This is the recently-dis...
The $128,000 Question - 1978 pitchfilm
zhlédnutí 11KPřed 3 lety
In Alex Trebek's long history of game shows, some of his most significant experience on the quiz side prior to Jeopardy! was his one year hosting the late 1970s revival of the $64,000 Question. Here's a recently-discovered pitchfilm with various highlights (predominantly from Alex's season), with memorable contestants, big winners and the playoff where Barbara-Anne Eddy wins the top prize. And now an episode from the one-season Robin Ward run, with probably the best-known Warner Bros/Looney Tunes cartoonist that ever lived, and whose influence lives on to this day. Panelists are Pat Collins, Nipsey Russell, Margaret Trudeau, and John Wayne. All uploads are for archival purposes and do not intend to infringe on any copyright holders' rights. It was more fun
I wish they would put the show back like this
Wait that's CJ from Matt Houston
What an absolute blast from the past. I vividly remember watching this in elementary school but don't think I've thought about the show since seeing this in my recommended - wow.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but it's sad that Nancy didn't last long. I liked her.
September 1, 1977.
South Park Coming in August!
Did he say Holden Cowfield? Jack can't add and doesn't read much. This did not age well.
The guy won $675.00 in second game. Overpaid by $100. Scorekeeper just as inept. Meke Me Laugh and original Gong Show were better show. Jeopardy was King. (and still is)
The last song of this episode was such a rude one!
8:38 what a throwback! Had Airborne on video as a kid. Forgot all about that movie 😄
3:16 "well it's an interesting story..." it really wasn't 😬😆
Hello Deli... run by Rupert Jee.
16:22 😂😂😂😂😂
I still miss this show.
Nice bounceback after the fast money embarrassment the day before
If this Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions game show is brought back by who owns their library catalog and properties; Fremantle Media, the theme music (Hormonal Imbalance, composed by John Franklin Grimsley for Score Productions, Inc.) and cues should be kept the same. Same story for the set design. Ditto for the classic sound effects and electronic voting paddles. Who cares if this is 2024? What announcer of now sounds similar to Gene Wood?
jimmy the pedo
On the Nose was a terrible game.
Did anybody notice Mark Goodson standing in the back in sport coat and white pants when the first four contestants were being called to come on down?
"Weird Al" started school a year earlier than normal, skipped the second grade, and graduated valedictorian from high school at 16. I had no idea he was that intelligent!
When was the first-aired of the Double or Nothing bonus round?
Back when ESPN was enjoyable. Now every show on the channel is filled with loud-mouths arguing about nonsense.
Interesting how the set looked.
I don’t like Woolery’s politics, but he had humor, voice, personality, and knew the board really well. See how fast he replies to the contestants letter choices. Sajak, OTOH, never had any personality or charisma at all, yet struck it rich hosting a game show while being completely bland, boring, and talentless. Maybe he was a good weatherman?
I once won Ben Steins money!
#2 mouthed the words "I am the Rabbit" when Gary read them. Dead give away!
A month before south park premiered
A little eager there on the category reveal sound effect at 1:51
As of today, all 19 episodes with On The Nose are now in circulation. Turns out this episode is even more rare than we thought, because it's the ONLY time On The Nose ever used tennis. After seeing how well this playing went, it's pretty easy to see why!
Used to watch this show religiously on ESPN Classic
One More And All Of Those Beautiful Balloons Would Have Dropped Alover
"Temptation Eyes" by The Grass Roots was the bumper music theme for this episode.
Al Roker's Evil Laugh
Leesa was only 17 when she became a grand champion?! That's incredibly young to have so much general knowledge!!
8... FUCKING... SECONDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bonus prize should have been $250,000.& 2 new 🚗🚗 cars!!
I Remember Tic Tac Dough!
Is that the Helen who won every night she was on and became a champion?
Marc Summers was a CBS page?? Thanks for the upload. CBS daytime was HOT back then.
Such a great show. It should never have ended!
Surprised me how well I did, unfortunately way too slow though.
The remakes and revamps of these old classics are never good. The only one who was anywhere near as good as Richard was Steve Harvey. Even the latest try with To Tell the Truth was a bomb. The panel was full of superficial "stars" who were loud, rude and uneducated. And what was the host's mother doing there? Richard is a class act and no one will be able to match him.
Nancy was hot but unfunny
bueler bueler bueler
Watching this you see how smooth Tony Barber was. The show suited him, or he made it work.
This Episode Of The 14th Season Premiere Was Skipped On Pluto TV
I would’ve asked him, was his favorite cartoon “ Draftee Daffy” ? Because it’s too crazy and it moves very fast. 😄😄😄
