Cold War was the worst cod game, in my opinion, so I haven't got high hopes, and black ops 1 is hands down the best cod game ever

I think everyone’s forgetting that Call of Duty isn’t what it once was and never will be, idc who’s developing it. I’m getting the same flash back as I did when they announced MW2 in 2022, and then we were all royally disappointed with its release. Yes, Treyarch is the best out of all of them at making a Call of Duty game but there will still be SBMM, EOMM, whatever other acronym they have patented, AI monitored game chat, micro transactions, macro transactions, left wing political garbage, cringey cross over skins, sweats, hackers, etc. However, I do think it will be a better Call of Duty than what we’ve gotten in the last 5 years.
Good points. I think people overhyped the changes that would be made when Microsoft buying Activision. I remember seeing a zombies CZcamsr say they would fix the franchise and I just thought “not a chance”. I’m hoping treyarch cooks though, and I know sledgehammer has been slowly testing the “stay in lobby” feature, so hopefully that comes to pass in the next game

Not to poke fire but I prefer black ops 1, cold war and now possibly gulf war. The others 2 and 3 just doesnt and never will have that draw for me BO 3 was just grimdark cyberpunk doesn't have the black ops vibe.
