What's wrong with just saying Europe? Why not just state where the materials are from instead of a union of governments that only crave more control and power. EU is just UN little brother. What's dangerous a government? Governments grouping together. Or do you not like your sovereignty and like outsiders dictating your country and culture?
Hi, Dane (and by extension EU citizen) here! The good people of Savotta are highlighting their almost entirely EU-sourced and EU-produced gear because Finland (the country Savotta is from) is an EU member state. The EU allows member states to trade among each other on much more benefitial terms. This is generally regarded as a pretty cool thing, as it makes countries in the EU less reliant on foreign imports while boosting their own internal trading capabilities. In regards to the whole "erasure of sovereignty and culture" thing... I dunno what to tell ya, man, but that's just not how it works. Much like the UN's UNESCO, the EU also works to *preserve* the culture of its member states, and, guess what, since its a democratic institution, everything is decided through voting. Hope this clears things up for you! :)

to fit the sleeping pad on the bottom did you take the straps out two of the webbing loops or just one?
do you use the straps on the bottom of the backpack or use separate ones through the webbing loops to secure the sleeping pad on?
Separate straps are the far superior option. If you use the straps of the lid then they will loosen up every time you open the pack, and the sleeping pad will fall out.
