Making a Working Zoetrope in Figmin XR!
zhlédnutí 90Před 11 měsíci
As Figmin XR's July artist-in-residence, I'm curious about building motion machines in this amazing VR app! Using a Quest Pro, I was successfully able to recreate this traditional analog animation device in mixed reality! I was curious about playing with animation in Figmin's 3D space. I think it turned out pretty well! What should I make next?

This was an experiment in low-light, long-exposure photography, trying to find the perfect balance representing what the moon looked like to the naked eye. Pratik! This is amazing. It saves sooo much time from preplanning if we can just go out and shoot natural images!
Wow! So impressed and now I want to try this!
It was a pleasure doing this panel with you, Tahnee!
Soooo great covering this vast myriad of techy (and practical) techniques with you too, Adriana!
Thank you soo much for uploading this kind of video, it has actually help me understand Krita alot better than what my teachers have taught me, and it also helped me ace my computer final examination
Whoa
Reminds of old disney and the first animation/film
The only useful Krita tutorial I've watched so far... Thank you! 😊
Want to do multiplayer?
This is completely awesome.
you are my great honey, because I've seen a lot of Krita tutorials on youtube, but nobody could teach me as you did.
The concept is awesome
This was so beginner friendly, thank you so much!
boooooring
i bet thats the coolest bee in the hive
FFMPEG is an open-source project native to the actual film industry, it should run just as well on Macintosh. (On the other hand, the company declared Vulkan "deprecated" when it was brand new just to push their own graphics API, so I wouldn't put it past them to attempt the same with FFMPEG.)
Sometimes when Krita starts glitching on me-which, thankfully, doesn't seem to happen as frequently these days as of v. 5.1-I'll just save my document, exit out, and start it again; then it's fine. Saves me time, and time is everything to an animator.
Yehay
Excellent video. I've watched many videos and you aren't too slow or too fast. I got a lot of fundamentals pretty quickly.
The tone of Krita . Demooooo killed me So fun and informative tut
Brilliant tutorial! thanks a lot! btw, did you find a way to delete all the frames at the same time and keep the timeline?
Hey bro! I need soone who know After effects. Can you help?
lol look at tNice tutorials dude
thank you
Hey Tahnee, I just wanted to thank you for the work you put into this. I have come back to this video several times since you first uploaded it a couple years ago, and it's frankly one of the very best animation tutorials on CZcams, or anywhere for that matter. The level of detail, and clarity of explanations you give can only be rivaled by master courses that a person would likely pay hundreds of dollars for. You are an excellent teacher, and explain everything so clearly. Thanks again, I just wanted you to know how helpful your video has been to me, and I'm sure thousands of other artists. EDIT: Since you mentioned DaVinci Resolve at the end of the video for video editing, I can attest to the fact that it is a very good editing program. I bounce back and forth between it and Premiere all the time, and while Premiere might be more robust in it's features, I actually prefer DaVinci to be honest. It's very easy to use, has a great interface, and it really isn't lacking in anything major. It can do everything you would ever need for like 99% of editing projects. If someone is wanting to do a lot of visual effects, then coupling Premiere with After Effects is pretty much essential, but for most editing jobs, DaVinci Resolve is an excellent program, and is FREE!
sa,e bro tNice tutorials is fire
I am here tto join all of you in soft Journey
Thanks a lot......
great demo! liked and subbed- as a new krita user, i'll be back for more!
Ive been having a really hard time with figuring out why this process doesn't work when I paste things, do you have a solution? when I paste something, it then appears on the first frame too, even if it's not there and it's drving me crazy
I pre draw everything and don't think I can work around this
simple yet most comprehensive tutorial for krita 2d animation! Thanks :)
BTW, one question for you. I heard you say 'Krita is a little limited on brushes', but is it? I happened to look into Blender Grease Pencil and it has even shorter options on brushes than Krita, and people still make great outcome from Blender. I mean, I am curious if many brush options is so much important.
Is there a way to have the color chart having names of colors? I am colorblind but still love art. Thanks in advance.
Hahahahahahahha
Blop
Thanks algorithm
Do you know how to change the starting frame from '1' instead of '0' in the Animation Timeline?
