Clearing an old hard drive and found this from the Formula Junior race in the BT2. Suffering a misfire but some fun dices, especially with the De Tomaso at the end 👀

Driving the De Tomaso at Silverstone Finals. Fun to get on the podium after having to start from the back of the grid. Another great drive from Sam Wilson (2nd) and winner, Michael O'Brien.
Dead last to 7th 😃 spin to 16th 😩 then 7th at the flag 😅 🏁

Simon Toyne and Neil Fowler kindly leant me their car for a fun race off the back of the grid. Not quite the result we deserved but fastest lap of the weekend for a Formula Ford was nice!

First time driving the mk1 Jaguar for the owner at Thruxton. The right hand drive shaft let go on lap 2 which was unfortunate. Luckly we avoided serious damage! Car run by William Heynes Cars 👌🏼

Sharing the Lotus 23C with Michael O’Brien in the Gurney Cup at MM80 bothering all the V8’s. 14th and up to 5th on the road before the driver change. We were on for 6th but unfortunately Michael had to retire the car on the last lap with fuelling issues. “Simplify, then add lightness”

A pleasure to dice with Joey Foster and Tom Mills in the little old RF90. Joey went on to win the event (congratulations!) so keeping with him on genuine pace and taking the lead (briefly) was really encouraging and a lot of fun.

Starting P28 (last) after the car swap I managed to get up to 7th by the end of lap one. Could only manage 5th by the end having gambled on a full wet setup.The rain came but way too late! Thanks again to Simon Toyne and Neil F for lending me the Lola T200. Car preparation by Neil Fowler Motorsport.

killer race, i watched all the way to the end! it's neat how the camera lets us actually hear you moving in and out of the other cars' slipstreams

Hey Cam, are you intentionally drifting the corners ?..great race .. never miss one..
The cars don’t have a lot of power so momentum is important. I personally like to be on the throttle early, generally before the apex so having the car neutral at the wheel (4 wheel drift) seems optimal with older, treaded tyre cars

@@briewhit1312 Formula Junior, rear engined grid for cars from 1961-1963
also in Formula Junior there are classes, depends on year of the car, in the class that Cam is in, they have Richardson tuned Ford engines, around 120 bhp , 5 speed Hewland gearbox , earlier cars have around 90 to 110 bhp, vw gearbox 4 speed, that makes a big difference in lap times
