Breakfast cooked using Fire Dragon fuel gel and BCB Mk1 cook set in my usual spot.

i was going to take meths as fuel like i normally would but MrRTR used the blocks in his latest video so i thought id do the same, but i'll use the gel for a breakfast session in this 1.

Sasquatch or Hungry belly? you decide... Back in the woods again for breakfast and a brew. Ive felt uneasy in this wood on the last few visits with noises and funny feelings, but this was a clear tree knock. the biggest animals in this area are foxes and badgers so Deer banging there antlers is out the question. There has to be a rational explanation... but i dont have it currently. Tunes by me!

Kelly kettle, S10 resi pouch, N.I Patrol pack and Altberg boots on. Finally got the chance to take this route out to the beach, id heard this path was an easy way of getting there..... maybe with a light pack or maybe i need to get fitter?? Tunes compiled by me.....
Out for 7 hrs, 2 set-ups, 10 miles, 2 air raid shelters and worn out legs.

Urbex at abandoned grain fort tunnels. Finally got the second part out there. These tunnels are very interesting but don't go alone. then topped off with a brew and porridge at some ww2 dragons teeth defences. Music By...... Me!

Packed light for this little trip, so the BCB cook kit was a must. I found and explored the south tunnel of the 1860 coastal protection fort. i didnt find the tunnel system i wanted so after research i have now located the full tunnels and hope to return asap..... another video to follow soon.

My local fruit farm sells the windfall and ‘ugly’ apples for very little, for making cider.
I will happily scream out BS against these farmers. I'm not 100% with them on what they say. They could allow someone to collect that crop and sell it on surely to goodness! A great cook time on the Dragon Gel.. I have never really bothered with it but it is certainly one to think about. loved your face when you realised it wasn't Predator. You hadn't taken your tools to eradicate it, so understandably worried. Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail... in killing an alien lifeform 😄 Good food and may I say, that T_P Outsider cup is serving you extremely well!
Thanks for the shout out Mr. T_P. Fire dragon gel is my fav at the moment. As usual the skran looked the business. I've never had wraps on any of my cookouts. I may have to put that right soon. ATB mate.

I'm playing catch up at the moment Tony. I do admire your set up mate - it has everything you might need- very organized. I especially like the burn mat. What is it? Re-keeping fit it sounds like you're getting there - nothing heroic and you'll be increasing the distance. As for the sound it was OK. Well, mate so good to just to be out doing what you love. Yes me to, ill have a binge watch of vids after my run on sat. i use a soldering mat, its only a couple of quid on ebay but i find them very effective. getting out to the woods has kept me sane 👍 my aim for fitness now is to lower my heartrate and slowly increase carrying weight for strength. editing the video the mic sounded awful but once processed it sounded fine, very strange. I have that bladder and iv attached it to my virtus issed bergen using the proper bladder pouch not bad at all
Yeh its a hand piece of kit, it attaches quite well to the from of the pouch rucksack, the loops on the pouches are just right. glad i bought it
It may be an age thing, but the first thing to come out of my bag nowadays is nearly always my sit mat. 😊

Mic was good. Sounded ok to me. I like hearing nature in the background of vids. Personally that's what I go to the woods for. Hydration pack looks good too. Nice one Mr. T_P.
Hi MrRTR, yep i agree, sounds of the woods you just cant beat it. i did have to re-upload the vid and turn the sound up as i had tweaked it down thinking it was super load but once edited it was to quiet.... typical. ill give it ago again on the next vid and see. im glad i got the hydration pack now, super handy.
Personally I like the longer format vids. But you do what works for you. The mic seems to be OK. But we all know you dub the bacon sizzle on 😜. Love your Vids as (for me) it’s all I need.. whatching someone enjoy the outdoors. Isn’t that what we all want. If people want to hate, they have the problem not you. Take care.
Hi Mr RH, cheers for the comment and watching the vids. very much appreciated. the mic seems to activate when i speak i noticed so the sound of the woods is muted which is a shame, Ahh you caught me i have a catalogue of food sounds which i use 😁 i prefer to watch the longer vids as well, ill see how this vid turns out and see how this goes, each of my vids is usually 1hr30 before i edit as i try to catch everything for reality. have a good weekend mate.

You made me chuckle there at 4:27 "in a minute." My type of humour, Mr. P. Then some cracking improvisation immediately after. Funny isn't it? Most of us outdoors folk hear a noise, show a smidgeon of concern then crack on with getting the scran going on 😆 Which may I add,,, "dirty food" is always the bizzo! Look at the size of that that 2024 Wagon Wheel for goodness sakes. Take me back to the 70's NOW.

Hiya MrRTR, i do love that spot, its a safe secluded spot apart from the weird noises, got to be squirrels n foxes surely. 🤔 yes 2 tools, so my first knife was the Mora robust, brilliant strong knife but i find it hard to do fine feathersticks, im guessing because of the grid. Then i found the Hultafors which is thinner and easier to make fine cuts. The Mora i mainly use for chopping n battening wood and the Hultafors for fine work n food prep 👍😀
