    Worst, fill the hole with concrete then embed it inside. Don’t use bags and add water that’s rookie special. Mix the shit or get a concrete truck. Fill holes with Crete n then slam the post in.. efficiency and perfection at its finest with this method. Time is money

    You shouldn’t stain PT pine that fast. I’m sure cedar is fine but PT needs time to dry before you lock moisture in with a stain

    "This fence will fail if we don't follow those steps." ... Except filling in the tops of holes with dirt will rot the bottom of the posts. Every fence contractor thinks they know best and it's about 50/50 on this issue across the board. It's the great fence conundrum. POSSIBLY deal with frost heave, or deal with much faster rot keeping the posts in contact with the soil. The question of the ages.

  • @landmarkcreations1183

    Yup "The Bull" looked to be the clear winner to me for multiple reasons. Though with that being said if I was to do any, whatever the cheapest driver there would suffice as the slight difference in the time wouldn't even matter to me.... time ='s money for those doing it as a profession however. I just mash mine in with my excavator because no worries about my property being damage or working in tight spaces.... though if I ever was to need one, they all seem to be great options/units.

My cousin was cutting bamboo stakes for his garden an said he had already cut 20 before the accident happened he was cutting round bamboo on a miter/chop saw no vise hold it with it hand like you would anything eles the bamboo bound up the saw rolling the round object he was cutting an it rolled his hand up with it an about eat his thumb off an cut one finger clean off an mangled one other so almost cut 3 digits off I say that as a per-caution because I don't want anyone eles to get hurt in the same manner just be careful bud

    That looks beautiful but you installed the 45 degree support brace incorrectly. it should be at the farthest top end away from the hinges going down to the hinges at the bottom so it can actually work as intended and reduce stress and add structural support. Currently it's quite literally just acting as added weight.

    • @mrfencetools
      @mrfencetools Před 14 dny

      It absolutely is not in the wrong direction. There are two types of braces in the world one in compression and one in tension period one pulls against gravity the other pushes. Strongest brace is tension however you must have a superior connection or it will fail. Compression braces can have a weak connection typically because the load pushes against the brace however they cannot flex. I am sure you have tried a tension brace with a cable before a turn buckles imagine putting that in the direction your suggestion it would just collapse on itself. Same thing with this small flexible brace we have here. It would fail in seconds turned the other way. Think of a drinking plastic straw pinch it at both ends and pull with all your might that’s tension, what will happen the straw will come out of your fingers before you stretch or break it. Now take the same straw and put it on the tip of your finger in each hand and push with a very very weak connection the straw with fail or bend instantly right in the middle that’s compression. Well now you know and have officially meet the biggest fence geek on the planet AKA Mr Fence

      These are very strong 1/4” rivets the frame is customizable on width and rackable onsite that’s the advantage without all the extra cost of custom fabricating a gate. Better gate for consumer that a traditional wood one by a long shot.
