Did it this morning! Worked great. I'd been having to mess with my key for months. Washed it out with electrical contact cleaner and it's working great. Thanks buddy! Saved me some $$$

Biggest most consistent thing to wear out ignitions..... extra weight on the key ring , find another way to store your keys guys, use only the key for the ignition, will last a lot longer.

I finally realize what this video is about. These girls are essentially putting themselves all the way out there, discarding their last bit of humility, and he's cashing in on it. It's quite devious, but hopefully it helped them realized they could do better and be better.

LONG TERM FIX .. The method of spraying ( preferably electronic contact cleaner) will temporary clean the oxidation from the friction contact board pins. Over time they will get oxidized again. I carefully soldered all (about 6) friction contact / push in hole , board pins. Using electronic solder flux helps prevent bridging (connecting solder points that were not meant to be connected with solder). As there are various model of this start module , only do this to the (push pin in hole) friction contacts , NOT the wiper contacts if so equipped. IMHO this should have been done at the factory , would have prevented all of this, but also prevented what is undoubtedly a huge revenue stream. Sharing is caring , be kind to one another.
