All fairly nice up until the 2 minute mark and then had to wash my eyes out. The degredation in what passes for 'art', let alone quality art, over time is quite impressive.

Carl Spitzweg (1808 - 1885) is missing; one of his most famous paintings: "The Poor Poet". He should be in a TOP 10 ranking.

I hope so, too. Carl Spitzweg was one of the most important painters of genre subjects of the late Romantic and Biedermeier era. Together with Caspar David Friedrich (1774 - 1840; early Romanticism), he was one of the most important German painters of the Romantic period as a whole.
