Smokin in the pit was amazing and Steve Gadd was amazing on it. But When I hear Erskine play this tune (weather report) and look back at how this was meant to be played...Erskine absolutely owns it every time..another god-like solo from Brecker, no surprise there!

For such a great acoustic in that hall (one of the best) such a poor recording!! What a pity…

I loved performing on flugalhorn with Pauline and Larry on Maui with local players back in the early 90's in a concert honoring Nathan Tanouye receiving a music award and scholarship with this great song.

If you listen to the solos ; there is nothing to skip here!. the trumpet solo is awesome, followed by an incredible Tenor solo, followed by an unbelievable Alto solo, followed by a swinging piano solo! This song swings! Thank you so much for posting this!
