    Thank you for the list of tests to determine what is going on. My ENT did nothing but tell me what she thinks it is. I am going to schedule with another ENT. My therapist did a few tests and asked questions. So that is helped a little, but I can see now that need to be more informative on whats going on with me on my daily dizziness. My nightmare started with BPPV that was not treated timely. May God bless you.

Earlier it was severe vertigo vomiting etc. Now it is changed to dizziness and imbalance and also ear fullness, tinnitus, hearing difficulties all the time. Only on left ear. Now I am at the age of 60 years. Very difficult situation.. taking medicine almost all the time 🙏

    I woke up one morning with the room spinning. I called my ENT for an appt. I had hearing exam which was good. Loose crystals was also ruled out. I returned the following week for an VNG. A slight weakness in the right ear was detected. The doctor diagnosed labyrinthitis. That was almost 6 months ago. It keeps returning for sometimes 3 days sometimes longer. The doctor doesn't elaborate on any kind of therapy when I ask. He looks in my ear and sends me home. I get more information on videos like these than the ENT. I do have one question. You mentioned a virus like the shingles virus, is it the same virus and would a shingles vaccine help in this instance? Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for explaining what migraines are. My ENT told me told me that I was most likely experiencing migraines. I told her that I don’t get headaches. She did NOT explain further and the conversation moved away from the migraine discussion. You explained perfectly. I ‘get it” now. I would love to know exactly how a low salt diet reduces tinnitus, ear fullness/ hearing loss. I have drastically reduced my salt intake and it seems to be helping with my hearing loss, tinnitus and awful pressure (fullness)….but how ?

    Can you have the same symptoms with sinus problems or Eustachian tube problems? I have chronic sinus problems that cause a lot of the same symptoms, and when I get the Eustachian tubes to drain, then I’m ok. I’ve had a few attacks of severe vertigo, but only after severe sinus congestion that causes a lot of pressure around my eyes, and clogged ears. A lot of this happens due to weather changes.

    • @DizzyTherapy
      @DizzyTherapy Před 3 měsíci

      While a sinus issue itself wouldn't cause these issues, they can certainly aggrevate other diagnoses like Meniere's or vestibular migraine, and luckily an ENT can help with all of these diagnoses!
