Hello I'm Tiffany and I love sharing my passion for sewing, crafting and how to do things ourselves!
So many people think sewing is a dying skill of the past only done by grandmothers in walkers. I'm here to help change that opinion! Sewing is not a lost art. It just got a little sleepy when Fast Fashion took over. Today the sewing community is growing day by day with younger sewists emerging onto the scene with amazing skills! I truly believe everyone should know how to sew, even if it's just sewing on buttons. I also believe anyone can learn how to sew, adults and children. My channel is dedicated to sharing tips, tricks and techniques that I know and new ones I will be learning along the way. My goal is to share how fun and rewarding sewing and creative work can be, so the new generations will keep the sewing community alive and thriving.

▶ Check out my gear on Kit: kit.co/TiffanyStitchery I'm Tiffany and this is my Stitchery. I love anything DIY. I love sewing, crafting, doing artsy things of all kids and sharing them with other people. So I decided to start a You Tube channel so I can more easily share with my family and friends how to do it too!
Great idea. ❤Sadly, the background music is overwhelming as it's loud and stuck in hi speed glitchy loops. 😮
I’m completely aware of the music issue but I chose to leave it because I felt it wasn’t that annoying and many people still seem to get the information they need for making the scarf. It’s not super easy to create videos for CZcams that are perfectly edited when you are first starting out and doing all the work yourself. I’ve had many positive comments on this tutorial and only a few negative ones and then only about the music. The music isn’t easy to remove from an existing video unless I redo it completely. You can try turning the volume down and reading the captions next time. 😊
@@TiffanysStitchery you don't need to school me or tell me how to watch a video. I thought I was being kind and helpful. Some folks aren't aware of a glitch that stressed piping up in a video. And appreciate the heads up. I suppose my thumbs up wasn't necessary. I didn't go on how it actually effected me. Because I wasnt being rude. I site hope you have a better day. I know you don't need all the watch time or likes & I'm likely not a necessary viewer. That's cool. 🙄 I didn't scold you for not having a perfect voyeur l video either.. again how you have a better day. Bless'ns
Just came across this video and absolutely love it. You explain everything so well and make the steps easy to follow. Last note - I love your purple hair (my favorite color and currently my hair color too) :)
Thank you so much! And I’m still purple😍 💜
New subscriber, this video was amazing. You had it so detailed that even tho I am a quilter not a sewer, I completely understood and intend to make one. Thank you!,🎉
Thank you so much! I appreciate you 💜
The blanket and Elephants are adorable. I have a suggestion for making the corners turn out correctly before sewing each seam. If to add 2“ (38”)to the lining all the way around, make sure the top piece ends exactly at 36” when sewn to the lining.
Where did you find this fabric! 🥰
It was atJoann fabrics
It’s been a long time since I bought it.
Your directions are great. I have made many of these for gifts and even sold some. Thank you for sharing!
I have made 3 scarfs. Your instructions are very good. Thank you.

GREAT tutorial. Thank you.
I love this way of making infinity scarfs...it is so efficient. This is my fave tutorial for infinity scarves with hidden pocket.
Thank you so much!
I used this to make a bonding scarf for my baby rats, they love it.
That’s awesome! Thank you for letting me know 💜
I just bought this one and haven’t used a pattern since 9th grade, I’m 61 now.
With determination and patience you can do it! 💜
I'm looking for something that I can hang around my neck while needle tatting for pulling the ball thread through the picots. It would be alot more convenient than reaching for my steel crochet work constantly. However this little beak looks too tiny to grab onto my Aunt Lydia Classic 10 thread. I wonder if anybody has found anything that would work.
I’m sorry I’m not familiar with those tools. It sounds like this would be too small for that.
So cute!
Thank you!
Really good tutorial thankyou
You’re very welcome 😊
Merci beaucoup pour la video, jai pu faire un beau foulard pour mon herisson! :)
Pour votre hérisson ? Wow! J'aimerais bien voir ça ! Merci d'avoir regardé 💜
You have a wonderful tutorial! You make it look so simple and easy to follow. I made mine with jersey stretch knit, and it was a bear to work with. But I made it work
Thank you so much!
Love it
Thank you!
This was so helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for subscribing!
Does this work on small eyed hand sewing needles?
I tried it on the smallest needles I have and they are too small for this threader. However those needles are really tiny, I never even use them because they are so small. It does work on an average small needle as long as the thread isn’t too thick. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching! ☺️
Hi. What size is was the first scarf?
Hello! I’m not sure what you mean. I made two scarves the same size. I started off with 2 yards of fabric which would be 72 inches long and then cut it down in half lengthwise so each scarf before sewing was approximately 72“ x 22“ each. I hope that helps.
thanks for the clear instructions!
You are very welcome! Thank you for being here. 😍
You are a goddess!!! This has been the most thorough video I've seen on how to make this scarf. Thank you for taking the time to show us. Happy holidays ❤️
Thank you for your support! This made my day! 😍 Happy Holidays to you!
Thank you I’ve made a dozen of these for Christmas you made it so easy
That makes me happy! Thank you 😊 Merry Christmas!!
Love your descriptive video. Thank you for using your time to assist others with this make. I have one question: have you ever made this type of scarf on a serger? If so, any tips?
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I have not tried using a surger to make this scarf because I’m a little nervous about going around the zipper with a surger. For me using a serger is more about making exposed seams look nice and tidy. And since this scarf doesn’t have any exposed seams, I didn’t feel it was necessary. If you do want to try it I would suggest inserting the zipper first with a regular machine and then just use the serger for the straight long seams of the edge of the scarf.
Thanks for the tutorial. This was just what I was looking for - wanted some quick last minute Christmas presents. Love the added pocket!!!! 💕
Awesome! I’m so glad you liked it 😊
I need just plain scarf ... No zipper pocket, please!
That is too cute! I love the "I love Lucy" fabrics. This is a huge help. The detachable bib and the way you did it is a fabulous idea.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that 🥰
Excellent instructions. 😊
Thank you! I appreciate that 🤗
Great tutorial but the music is distracting
This is brilliant, and very helpful, thank you very much 😊
I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks so much
This is my second tutorial for the evening and this one is very clearly explained - thank you!
I’m so glad you liked it. Thank you!
Beautiful work.
Thank you I appreciate that!
Cute, but useless for embroidery floss. Most of the time, it only pulls one or two of the three strands through.
Yes I believe that this one is only good for hand sewing with regular thread, unfortunately. I really hoped it would work for the machine but it did not.
I, really, like your aprons! Love the I Love Lucy one. ^^* Like how you made different ones. I have never made an apron, but do sew some. I might get inspired to try to make one for, myself. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I appreciate that!
This video was insanely helpful for me! Your alterations helped me determine how I wanted my apron to look!
That’s great! I’m so glad you found it useful.
Thanks!
Good video, very clear! Thank you and I love the elephants!
Thank you. Off the buy the pattern you recommended. Hope as a beginner to sewing, I can manage it !
You can put a slight bend in the needle inserter and it works better.
I got excited then realized this is a two year old video and they no longer sell these fabrics but still a great How to lesson 👍
I believe they do still have the same brands, Luxe flannel and Soft and Comfy, aka Minkie. Check online 😊
Tiffany's Stitchery the plaid and elephants is listed as out of stock and can’t be order online. My local JoAnns store was ordered to close during COVID19 by our local Government
Yes sadly all of the Joanns in my state are also closed. That’s a bummer about those prints, I love them and don’t have anymore of it myself. But those brands have other prints, not sure what’s available currently. And getting something shipped right now is difficult. I’m waiting on a few supplies that have taken twice as long to ship.
Just about to make these and came to CZcams to see if anyone had any advice and found you. Thanks your video was very informative and I will take all you have said on board, fairly new to sewing, have made similar to lucky panties ok and wearable but not panel ones and really want to have a go, so very helpful
Awesome! I hope they turn out great. Be patient with yourself while learning. I had to make a few of them before I was completely happy with the results.
I want one for the same reason you bought yours! It’s so cute! 🧵 ❤️
Hi Tiffany! I just found your channel. I will be watching. This young lady is so talented!!
Love the zipper pocket idea!
I’ve just made these and yep, took me probably about an hour! I’m not very expert at attaching elastic with a serger so mine look a bit amateur but you know, first go, and only wearing at night so not great stakes. Did you end up disengaging the knife in your serger when you attached the elastic waistband? Thanks for your review, really helpful, and I do plan to make again.
In my defense making a video about it does take time. I did disengage the knife so it wouldn’t cut the elastic.
Very clear concise instructions....thank you....love that you are slow as you show the steps!
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Oh my goodness. I have watched and re watched this so many times. Made it, un picked it, made it again and now I've just seen what has gone wrong for me. When lining the pockets up and sewing down sides, I couldn't understand why the stopper of the zip wasn't on the left. I see now that how I was taught to measure a zip ( zipper pull to metal stop) is different to you. You actually include the zipper tape at the top in your measurement to the bottom zipper stop. Silly me for not double checking. So that whole inch was sucked up in my seam allowance! Never mind, it works, but will use an 8 inch zip next time. Thanks for the video.
You know after you made this comment I measured all of my zippers and found that the ones that I was using for this video are not true to size. They were listed as 9” but the actual zipper is 8”. I purchased them in bulk from Amazon, I think they are from China not sure. But they were cheap and not the best quality either. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I’m going to make sure to double measure next time. I’m sorry you had difficulty with it. I’m thinking of doing a part 2 update for it.
@@TiffanysStitchery I've made 6 of these for pressies since! You're a very good teacher x
Sian Sweet thank you so much for your sweet encouragement 😘💜💜
Where do you get your labels from?
I get them from an Etsy shop called Tagtopia. 😊 I’m sorry it took so long to reply to you I have not been getting all of my CZcams notifications lately.
Lol. You sew like me: This'll be easy Ok I'm struggling Redo Maybe this'll work Nope Redo This is frustrating Redo Wtf Redo Anger Redo Maybe I should get the right tools Hey that does work! That wasn't so bad, let me make more Repeat You make me feel better. Thank you!
I’m sorry I’m just now seeing this comment I have not been getting all of my notifications from CZcams for some weird reason. I’m only finding it now but thank you for this I had a great laugh 😂 keep on sewing!
