BJ and Dena set up an epic ride for sure.... It was great spending time with everyone. Miss everyone already, and look forward to another ride. Ah I enjoyed taking the footage, my camera was mounted to my handlebars so I could not get the best footage of the folks behind us, but I know Kojak got some epic footage. Yeah sit and watch it on your tv at home, and enjoy with your friends and family. That is what it is about. It really gives a person a view and idea of the rides we take. More videos, and interviews coming.. Working on the next video, when we left the volcano. Yeah I would agree, this ride was pretty epic, and one to remember..... You rock!

Hello, for starters thanks for following and commenting. There is always variables as you have described and mentioned for sure. We all are in different seasons of our lives, and have reasons for things. We definitely respect your thoughts, and glad you shared them, as that is what this channel is about, is just openness from multiple points of views and perspectives. The distractions are definitely much higher with mobile devices, as well as the electronics that are in modern cars these days. No doubt about that. So true about economy, etc. With your history of riding, I can only imagine the pull you have. I get the same feelings when I am not on my bike and this occurs. Hey thanks for sharing, and following. Yeah rocking the ole Sugar Bear on it. Rides smooth, and definitely is fun. The mountains and passes were definitely something with it. Especially the off camber hair pin turns..... It was a blast, and I agree with you on the miles....

Definitely all a learning process. I started riding in 1977 when I was 5 years old then raced motocross through my youth and early adulthood, and ridden a few miles on a harley. And ya know I am still learning, or going man I won't do that again. Thanks for following, this channel is about inspiring people to ride. Yeah a solid influence makes all the difference in the world. It gives a good foundation to build from, as well as a good perspective. I would never want my wife, son, or daughters who ride to experience negative energy, or the feeling of being scared. I want them to experience the beauty and freedom a two wheeled machine gives you, yet respecting it. The story you mentioned is what it is about, having fun, getting outside of our comfort zones, and the social norms, and experiencing life from a different level. That is good stuff. Hey thanks man, yeah the wife and flew out to LA about 11 years ago and hooked up with Sugar Bear at his shop and discussed my build as I had wanted a Sugar Bear Front End for 30 years. We settled on a 28" over with his number 3 rockers. The frame it's meant for is a build I'm working on that has a 45degree rake 3/6 of stretch. However, in the meantime I picked up Big Dog K9 for cheap, actually something I'm selling, but in meantime i decided to throw SB Front End on it, bolted right up. Current frame is I believe a 4/8 with 41 degrees of rake I believe. SB Front End won't be sold, it's going on my chop I'm currently building. Thanks for following dude.

We have a garage with motocross bikes, my sons cafe/brat style , and chops. My son likes the sport bikes, and i don't talk him out of his style. He is free to make his choice and rock what he likes. My Dad had BSAs and European Bikes, but at end of the day rocking your style is what is important. Thanks Dave

Ah the good ole WR250r, absolutely great machine. I love the wide ratio gear box. I am glad you still have it and it continues to make you smile. Thats awesome. Those are just kool bikes. As far as rider skill and bike skill, oh for sure. It is hard to replicate the skill one learns on the dirt. You look at the SuperBike or GP riders that came from Dirt, the transition and skill they bring over is pretty awesome, and the transition time is fairly quick making the discipline change. This is why I have taught all of my kids how to ride dirt bikes, it builds that strong foundation. Thanks for your comments. Dave

Different strokes for different folks. LOL, you come off a day of riding on a Sport Bike or something different and jump on a HD it's like WTF?? I love my choppers, but like riding all of them..
