I figured out a good plot. So i'm leaning towards the idea of half life leaning towards the plot of portal, and i had the idea of Gordon Freeman exploring the ruins of Aperture. (shortly after glados was killed) i think it sounds cool for us to get half life 3, and see how the place was shortly after GLaDOS' death. it could also lean into old aperture, by trying to reach the older areas to figure out what happened. but uhh, idk how it would work.

Quite odd, when I played portal 1, the portal 2 GLaDOS is used instead of the original one.

I think these sort of thematically consistent but vague answers to lore questions about portal is something that got lost on portal fans for many, many years, and its nice to see them discussed. I don't know if it was just what I was personally exposed to, or just general fandom culture surrounding nerd stuff at the time, but so much analysis of portal 2 the first couple years after its release really felt like people expected the game to always have hard answers. Obviously these games are built with some level of interconnectivity w half life and whatnot in mind, and there's a lot of lore to dig into for sure, but thats not what makes this game stick with people. It's aperture's ghosts that start out haunting the facility, and through wandering its halls, they come to haunt you too.

how do you play the mod? just put it in sourcemods? or you need to place it in another's game folder? Edit:i tried sourcemods and it didn't work
