Mam would you like to buy one?
They got shot later on..
I absolutely love this scene
Não brinque com um homem sério.
That asshole deserved it.
Van Alden knew how to quit a job.
"honey, I got let go from another job again....".
Well to be honest I really felt bad for the salesman person that got burned, weather he was being pushy rude or so! The scene reminded me in HBO Prison Show Oz in a person's crime past named Eli Zabitz that was working in a cook area, threw oil on his boss for yelling at him and got nine years in prison for it
I'm watching Boardwalk Empire for the first time, and watched this episode earlier, and this is probably my favorite part of the series so far.
One of The things i love the most about Michael shannons performance is nelsons posture, bent and stiff, always tight and stressed, that little detail tells You a Lot about him, always on the defensive trying to keep up a lie, that he is George Müller, that he didnt kill his partner, he isnt a fugitive on the run, he means no harm to no one, always paranoid that someone may recognize him, and putting all his lies to an end, lies that he tells to others, and to himself denying his violenta insticnts and his frustation not only to society, or the law, also, to god. Until he is pushed too far, and breaks into this rage filled frenzys.
For some reason the way George pauses after hearing “be reasonable” then lunging for that first typewriter is funny as hell. It’s like he considered it for a second then thought “No, sir, I will not be reasonable.”
Now thats how you sell an iron
They all just stood there and watched him throw all of the stuff around?
Who's laughing now ...b*"#ch
People in my world have no idea just how close they are to a similar event. tick tick tick tick tick......
Type writers are heavy as fuck. And he just lifted it above his head no problem. He was pisssssed
Kryptonians, Dude.
Never noticed how every time he made a joke Van Alden started heating the iron more and more as he got more and more angry
The guy overeacted, he was obviously exhausted and suffered from mental illness, probably a combination of depression and softs...
And, Phil, even after THIS happened to you, you and your buddies STILL thought it was a good idea to jump him when you saw him a year later--how did THAT turn out...
😂😂😂😂😂 I really enjoyed the look of fear
Do you think “act like a pissed off Frankenstein’s Monster” was in the script?
Man, they really picked the wrong century to pull this shit.
Bro switched to Nelson van Alden mode
Sold!
Just imagine how funny the bloopers in this scene were. 😂
By the way, after having seen this scene for many years, as fun as it is, it makes no sense that the iron was plugged in and heated. Fuck that guy, anyway.
They were showing the steam function
@@TrevorCoggins Oh. I get it. So, it's an iron, right?
@@carltonrandom yes?
Me on a typical Monday with my coworkers
This scene is way more satisfying q than jofferey death scene in game of thrones
No it's not
@@TrevorCoggins yes it is
This has to be one of the greatest scenes in tv history
Steam Powered Dildo - is it just me or is that a Steely Dan reference?
Well,I guess he did'nt like the office food.
Marvelous, Nelson is the Man... They deserved all the bad, and that crying... Marvelous... You get what you deserved
Ngl this was kind of funny and wholesome at first. Me and my colleagues would totally act like this just to get on each others nerves. It’s something that should be in everyone’s lives and shouldn’t be taken for granite, goofing off has kept us sane for thousands of years.
He made him cry like Ned from The Venture Brothers
What do you get when you cross a mentally ill loner with a society that abandons him and treats him like dirt?
"BE REASONABLE!"
...........so, I'm assuming he quit?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was the first time he asked him to be reasonable. The second time he asked the same question, he didn’t survive.
He's a paragon of the "Anonymous" metaphor...
Boardwalk Empire is looking for anothef Worthless Actor Hollywood Princess type to play a Naughty girl.......and Your Hired
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Scott Steiner in India be like
Well, I'm glad Georga had a chance to IRON things out before he quit the job!!
Never push someone past their limit
Completely normal reaction, it’s how I feel in Walmart
That calls for one week suspension without pay
However, they laughed at him so long time, at the end they got what they deserved. I've never seen this movie, but i dont understand what such man with pure dignity did among such ignorant people like them?!
Everyone tried to grab him after and say call the cops after bullying him..thsts how it goes.
They didn't read his knodding
By far my favorite character in the show.
