Why gold? I am not a goldsmith or silversmith. Of we are going back the the stone age, the right stones are a better investment. Iron and copper are more useful to the average Joe. Perhaps aluminum. But those things will be scattered about, free for the scavaging. If you are investing in anything, it should be skills and your word. It may be all we have.

Yep, reserve can print as much money as they please and you can’t with BTC…problem is NO ONE TRADES WITH BTC and they never will! You can say “store” the value all you like, but if it will cost you ONE BTC to buy a loaf of bread, then you’re back at square one - BTC only becomes valid if it’s a reserve currency, which I know it will NEVER be. This is clearly a suckers game, just like NFTs how they tried to sell it as “it’s like how you own art/property etc now”, they’re trying so hard to compare BTC to gold…if BTC were the equivalent, BRICS would be buying up BTC and the US/Europe would be doing the exact same thing - neither are doing so.
