Asymmetric bending example with 3D animation
This is my first attempt at using the 3D software Blender to make instructional video. The video is certainly imperfect, but I hope it can still help demonstrate problems involving asymmetric bending stress in Mechanics of Materials.
The example shown in this video involves a bending moment applied at an angle to the principal axes of the cross section. The absolute maximum bending stress as well as the orientation of the neutral axis need to be determined.

Your Dynamics lectures are classic. 5 hours of lectures cover the whole textbook material. Comparing to 30+ hours of lectures of others covering the same knowledge, yours are more concise and easier to follow logically.
1.Corner point should be a pair. Front to top. Front to right. 2.visual position. 3.visual lines are front or may be back. So be patient while seeing the cuting lines.

what software did you use for the isometric drawing in this example, i am particulary interested in drawings the ellipses representing circles correctly.
In the demonstration? I just used PowerPoint. For more professional drawings I use SOLIDWORKS.
