90% of the city is under the jungle. This are authentic ruins of a lost, advanced civilization. Even grahan hancoock has talked about it.
Teyuna - or the Lost City, as it is known nowadays - is one of the best examples of Tairona architecture; there were probably more than 300 towns and settlements in the northern slopes of Sierra Nevada before the Spanish conquest

You were lucky to get all that singing in friendship on the train. In July and August I took the train from Colombo to Kandy then later Kandy to Nuwara Eliya and then Nuwara Eliya to Ella. All 2nd class so the windows were open for great photos. I did have friendly people but no singing like you had! Did you take more than one train journey in the team areas and have this happen again?
How amazing are the train rides, absolutely beautiful! We did quite a few train rides and we didn’t see this again, I think we were super lucky ❤

How was your experience climbing with Ollie on Pidurangala and being on the top? Someone mentioned not to go as The rock isn’t sealed off. However, I hadn’t thought that our child would have the chance to run around but hold our hand.
Not a problem at all. It’s not sealed off but it’s a huge flat surface at the top, so you can easily stay away well away from the edge. Sunset was beautiful. We thought the trek down might be the risk, but it was fairly well lit. (Sometimes had to put phone light on and went down slow and steady) It was one of our favourite days/experiences.
