As I said, and you have seen, there were a lot of visits to the waterhole by buffalo, and many large herds.

It is almost automatic to look up when birding, but then you will miss out on all those birds who prefer to be lower down.

The churches found in the counties of Suffolk & Norfolk mostly have angels in their rafters, why? "A church roof filled with angels must have been a reassuring sight for people living in the bleak East Anglian countryside 600 years ago. Feathered guardians hovering benevolently over them would surely have been a comforting reminder of the heaven they hoped awaited them."
